The site of this inn (auberge) is magnificent, facing the Ferry dock, where we arrived with our car. The owner gave us an upper level room, which had a beautiful view. The room itself was very small and the bathroom was barely sufficient for one person. The bed was below regular standard. The restaurant - by the same name has the same owner, but the residents of the hotel do not get special rates or attention. The service in the restaurant is terrible, in particular if you try to be served during meal times. We did not like the attitude of the owner that was strictly business-like. We didn't make it the first night of our reservation and he made us pay for it (he deduced the taxes, that is, he did not give us a proper receipt for it). We ended up staying two nights, because it suited our plans, not because we loved the hotel nor the owner. When asked him for advice about location of services in the town, such as a tourism office, or a food shop, his information was vague and...

We had recently stayed at this hotel and had a rather pleasant experience overall. The room was clean but overall outdated. We arrived in the night and stayed there on our way to Tadoussac, if you will arrive late take cash with you, otherwise you might be charged twice just as us. Card didn't work, I went and withdraw cash and paid for the room but after returning back home I find out that card was also charged that night. I called couple of times but was not refunded. In any case, it was a nice stay and staff was welcoming and friendly. While there may be some areas where the hotel could use updates and renovations, there is friendlyness and service by the staff. It was a good memory after all, so I would rather recommend this hotel for a short stay. You can also walk along the shore and have a breakfast at the...

Decided to have dinner out and ended up having the ribs. I was craving fish & chips but apparently they don’t serve it at dinner time. There were several fish options, I would have gone for the cod but found the description unhelpful (cod and citrus fruit). However the ribs were a good choice, they were delicious and tender. No bread or roll comes with it, which I would have liked. The waitress was very abrupt but she was the only server on and therefore very busy. I asked for one dessert and two forks, we received 2 desserts which I was happy not to have had to share as it was amazing. Any seat in this restaurant has amazing views. I would have given it a 5 but felt it was understaffed and the English on the menu could do with a bit of an overhaul. Our Babbel French was not quite up to the job but it was fun trying.

Very Tasty and fresh seafood. The picture talked for itself, as it looks it tastes. We had to wait a bit for the food to get ready but 100% worth the wait. The service was A+ highly recommended
