My wife and I ate here the first night of our three-night stay in Sainte Anne at the end of July and liked it so well that we returned to eat here our two remaining nights. As a result, we were able to try several things on the menu. Everything was good and some things were excellent. Starting with the "only good" would be my filet mignon. It was acceptable but not great, although the French fries that came with it were unbelievably good, crispy and greaseless as if cooked without any oil whatsoever. I would go back to this restaurant for those alone. My wife also tried the lamb shank, which was tasty and generously portioned. The rainbow trout and the mussels were both particularly good, but the top awards in our opinion went to the house smoked salmon and the beet salad. We ended up ordering both of those dishes twice over our three nights here. The wine list was good and seemed reasonably priced and the restaurant space had a nice, cozy feel about it. But in the end the real stars of La Planche were the wait staff, Anthony and Alex. It would be impossible for us to say enough good things about them. They are hardworking, warm, patient and fun. I am being completely sincere when I say that during our three nights with them Anthony and Alex managed to personalize our dining experience in the most positive ways that we can ever remember having in a restaurant. Le menu est parfait et recherché La carte des vins aussi et avec même une section de sélection de vins plus rares.
Mon conjoint et moi avons tellement hésité à choisir notre souper que nous avons choisi 3 plats principaux que nous nous sommes séparés.
Nous avons mangé des moules bleues à la marinière, des roulades de sole farcies au champignons de la Gaspésie et un tartare de saumon juste parfait !

Cela ne devrait pas figurer dans les entrées mais plutôt dans celle à partager. Trop de fromage à notre goûts, on en perd le saumon.
