Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Salmon Arm

The chicken was good... white meat was a bit overdone and on the dry side. Gravy was good. Biscuits were good. However, they did not have any butter to go with the biscuits. Now here is my disappointment... I The beans and rice is usually my favorite thing on the popeyes menu. This was hands down the WORST beans and rice I have ever had from any popeyes chicken location. There was way too much rice ratio and it was not "beans" and "rice" layered on yop of one another, but instead it like a soggy kidney bean gumbo/ slop... it was completely aweful. And I hope that someone tells them that they are doing it wrong... like really really wrong.

Also in regards for parking if u wanted to sit and eat on the promises parking lot as well as drive thru lane are both very limited on space. With it being a new location with no dining room currently available for dine in. The drive thru line is backed up right to the street. On a more positive theyre pumping food out pretty quickly so the drive thru line does move...

If you want to pay 9 dollars for a 4 dollar fast food chicken sandwich, then this is the place. Good sandwich but way overpriced and served to you by minimum wage immigrant/modern slavery program workers. Premium price paying people nothing to work there. Also no options for drinks in combo other than soda pop, in the US you can get iced tea, in Canada you can't even get hot tea. Even a bottle.of water they want to charge an additional 2 dollars plus deposit and ecofee on top of the combo price. Just greedy and stupid. Red beans and rice good, but they chintz on the portion and it is like half full container and mostly rice. Franchisee needs a lesson in customer service and value. Salmon arm needed something like this but they can do so...

The door, when opening it, makes a strange sound, like the door is scraping. We ordered 3 meals and were very disappointed. No real flavor in the chicken breading crust. The sauces they coated some of the meals in were gross. Cauliflower tasted good for a few bites. Popcorn chicken was mostly batter and fries were just OK. The worst thing on the menu was their Mac & Cheese. Over cooked and watery. Could only handle one bite.
