We (my husband, son, daughter, and myself) decided to go to London Line Burger for breakfast on Father's day today. We arrived at the establishment at approximately 10:45am and joined our friends that had already been sitting there since 10:30am. We actually had to wait for about 10 minutes for a table to be joined with our friends and then another 15 minutes later they asked what we wanted to drink. My husband ordered coffee and I ordered an orange juice (my son and daughter ordered their drinks about 5 minutes after us, asthey were not at the table at first request. My husband received his coffee and the son and daughter received their drinks....I had to ask for my orange juice 15 minutes later. The waitress took an order from another table from people who arrived after we did....my friend approached the waitress and the waitress took our order and submitted first (this was about 11:30am....about 45 minutes after we arrived.) Many patrons left without being served....when placing our order, they could not provide what was on the menu ( white toast, poached eggs for eggs benedict), so we ordered other food on the menu. My husband's hollandaise sauce was broke and just oily butter, my son and I the 3-egg western omelet which was very yellow and tasteless ( no milk in it and rubbery), and daughter had ordered Belgian waffles ( they were tiny tasteless waffles). We had to ask for eating utensils and more milk/creamers for coffee...three of us asked for water, and I never received my water. We were charged almost $60 for 4 of us for terrible service and food not even a new cook would approve! When we had the opportunity to speak with staff about the wait time for breakfast, we only got excuses that they didn't expect that many walk-ins....on Father's Day! WE ARE TELLING EVERYONE WE KNOW TO NEVER GO TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT! Please save your time and money and cook yourselves a delicious breakfast that...
Read moreWe tried their chicken wing special and shouldn't have bothered. Server told us that they get great chicken from a great supplier that doesn't use hormones to grow their chicken (even though using hormones in chicken has been outlawed in Canada for many years, but that's a story for another day). The wings were very small, (quail-sized!!) bony and overcooked, with zero flavour. The boxed ones at the grocery store would've been better than these sad little things. The fries were good, but we didn't go there just to get plates of fries. We've been to this restaurant many times since they opened, and we're not sure what happened (change of owners or management, maybe?) but it has seriously gone downhill in food quality. The staff have always been pleasant, but the service got slower and slower each time we visited, even when the restaurant was not busy. Also, their music playlist was obviously stuck on repeat when we were there, because the same song played over and over the entire painful hour that we were there. We...
Read morewanted to try something new for breakfast, walked in was seated right away but unfortunately no one came back to our table we waited at the table for 25 minutes with no one return to give us menus or a drink. watched 2 people wait to be seated after us wait so long they walked out, watched another 2 people be seated after us get menus before us, watched ANOTHER 2 people walk out as they never received service, that was all in the 25 minutes we sat and waited patiently but ended up getting frustrated so we also got up from the table and left and as we did the table that got seated after us and got menus before us also got up and left. 2 waitresses there was and for that size of a diner and for how many people were there (6-8 tables max 2-4 people per table) we shouldn’t even had to have waited 5 minutes, on top of waiting we also hear 2 tables around us complain about there food. terrible service, probably won’t...
