We stopped after traveling from United States for SIX HOURS…the first thing we always do when we get into Canada is Tim Hortons.
This was hands down the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE I have ever had!!! The restaurant was empty, we arrived (4 of us) and an older caucasian women took our order, and it was clear from the moment we walked in the door that we were a MAJOR INCONVENIENCE to her. She very literally huffed very loudly after everything we ordered. She was pounding our order into the screen so hard, that at first I thought maybe she was being rude because the screen was not working. It’s a miracle the screen did not break. She was rude, belligerent, exceedingly unprofessional throughout the ENTIRE interaction. We were quite honestly speechless. One of the things we ordered was a steak bowl. She proceeded the very angrily make a steak burrito. When we politely told her it was supposed to be a steak bowl, she threw the burrito on the counter and ripped it open with her BARE hands and dumped the contents into a bowl. I then asked for a refund for the steak bowl (which we had already paid for). She did the refund, and as I turned away to leave, said out loud to the other co-workers that I was so rude.

I've only just moved into the area about a year ago... if I have the time I now go way out of my way just to not have to deal with the outrageously rude staff.. after sitting in the dining room a few times now... I've learned that the staff seems to only cater towards the older gentlemen...anyone under 30yrs old and you're bound to either be treated with zero respect, have your order (it really seems purposely) mismade, or even after you bring the issues you have to Their attention. Sluffed off like you're asking something insanely hard. As someone who worked with people in customer service, I understand some people just find it hard to smile at 6 am but this is much much worse than that. I had kept this to myself for a while till my girlfriend had a way worse issue with them regarding a completely wrong order and them unwilling to fix it before she had even left the store... it's now so bad she's scared to enter alone since after this issue she was down right made fun of quite a few times... it's really disgusting... these people know they have the upper hand since anyone whom complains now a days is treated like a...

As a professional who works in healthcare and with patients/customers on a daily basis and extremely stressful situations, I can attest to the importance of CUSTOMER SERVICE in every situation. It is NOT difficult to be kind. If you can’t handle, making a coffee and a bagel for a customer, in a kind and professional manner then I suggest you find a different job. Clearly, after reading the reviews from years ago, this specific employee is still there. Quite honestly, I am speechless. I can’t even describe how rude disrespectful and unprofessional we were treated. If this particular lady was on my team or staff, she would be terminated immediately.
