Always ooking for unique places with good food and the Blue Rhino didnt disappoint. Service was kind, courteous, and timely. Drinks were always full, food was amazing. Overheard that the beef dip is one of their most popular menu item and it was delious. Soft bun, flavorful au jus, tender and flavor infused shaved beef - slightly mix up on toppings, but either added option sautéed onions or mushrooms bring their own flavor profile and in good portion. Other items ordered; fish and chips (good breading to fish ratio - was cooked to perfection and homemade tartar sauce was in good supply and on point) Kids "Im not hungry" corn dogs & friends, and the Burger Poutine (Gravy had great flavor and complimented the ground beef and toppings, very filling) All in all great food, great service, great atmosphere, quality and quantity, and very unique. We will be returning again when we are back...
Read moreWorst service that I have had in any establishment here in Saskatoon. When we arrived, there was about 20 people in the bar. Our table of four was greeted by a waitress that told us she was too busy to serve us and that we need to go to the bar. We stayed for a about two hours, had a couple rum and cokes, beer and a few rounds of YAG bombs. When I left, I cleared my bill (for two) without looking at a detailed breakdown of what was on it. The others did the same, thinking that they were paying for the whole table. They overcharged our table by at least 100$ and charged us for 30 YAG bombs, over 8 rum and cokes, several beers, Gin and much more. We know we didnt drink that much and if the bartender did serve 4 people that much, then he needs a lesson on overserving. They have refused to change anything on the bill. I wouldn't recommend that...
Read moreMany awesome bartenders here. I can see that the owners are great people. Every time I ask the bartender/Serve if they like working at the Rhino, they say "it's awesome". They say how the owners are great. Granted they are open to 12. They don't push it to 2 like a lot of greedy owners. I don't know the owners yet, they seem like up standing citizens that look out for people.
They got awesome burgers that are between 17~19 bucks. The pizzas go for the same price. They also got dart boards, VLTs, pinball machines and a jukebox. One thing they are missing is a pool table but that's all right, that takes a lot of space and comes with its own hassle (Sutherland has other bars for that). The new buck hunter machine makes up for it (personally). It's nice to see a bar that maintains their staff unlike Yanz or copper Mug...
