Order: Vegetarian pakora, tandoori paneer masala, signature daal, garlic naan, tandoori roti, raita and onions. Food Review: The pakoras came raw on the inside. The outside was nice and crispy but then the inside was pure raw dough. It was inedible and we sent it back. The daal and paneer masala were not bad, the daal did lack a sense of spice but overall they weren’t horrible. I prefer tandoori tadka down the road. The server forgot the onions and raita and they were brought mid way into eating the meal. The service: I would basically consider it non existent. I had to wave the waiter down to get napkins, place the order, request the forgotten onions and raita and finally I had to get up and physically walk over to two of the staff members who were chatting with one another to request the bill and containers for the food. In addition to all that, the server added the vegetarian pakoras that he agreed were raw and which had been sent back to the bill. That was the icing on the cake. Overall, I was hoping this would be a nice new addition to the neighbourhood, however they have now disappointed time and time again. I will not be going back and I would highly suggest trying tandoori tadka...

Response to the reply: We refused takeout as we preferred dining in. Despite requesting to the server that we were only 2mins late, she still declined our request. I came back to confirm the timings as there was no mention of that online that you close dine-in at 9:15 pm and then informed you that I would share a review about the inconvenience to help others considering dining in. Surprisingly, the owner then allowed us to dine in. Shouldn't we value our self-respect instead of returning to dine in after facing initial denial, simply because the owner feared a negative review?

We were thinking of returning back but after your reply I don’t think you care about customer service and anyone who wants to enjoy good customer service along with meal shouldn’t come here definitely.

Initial Review: The experience was highly inconvenient. We intended to dine in, arriving at 9:17 pm after a 20-minute drive, but they refused, stating that dine-in closes at 9:15 pm. Despite being only 2 minutes late and the kitchen closing at 9:35 pm, they showed no flexibility, even though they could have taken our order in one go. Please go atleast 1 hour prior otherwise they will...

I’ve ordered delivery from this place before and food was good. Hence I ordered again today for takeout since I was nearby. After today, I might Order delivery but not takeout or even dine-in. Service was really bad. I walked in and stood there for about 5mins and no one cared to come by although it was not busy and the staff was just standing inside just staring into space. Then when the staff finally came by, he looked pass me and helped the people behind first. I was literally standing right in front of him as I came in before everyone there at that time. The second staff did the same too. It’s -38 and I still came out to get food from you and that’s how I was treated. Total disrespect towards a returning customer.

Replying: As mentioned I was attended to last even though I came in before two customers that were standing behind me for takeout as well. I understand those in the dine in area were served first since they came in first and were there for dine-in. What I don’t get is why the host looked pass me and attended those that came in after me and were also standing behind me. Thank you for the reply. I do like the food there...

I came here tonight (a Thursday evening) solo. I was the only one here when I arrived, with another party coming in when I left. Don't let this sway you though. The food was great! I got a little confused with parking but there was parking in the front and back! I started things off with the tea and an order of Aloo Tikki Chat. It tasted great but there was a lot of cream around it and it wasn't very warm anymore. The tea was great. For my main I had the Murag (chicken) Korma with plan rice and garlic Naan. I ordered it medium and for a normal white guy who can't do Spice it was great. It had a bit of kick but not a ton. The portions were pretty big, only able to eat half of it after eating most of the Aloo Tikki. The first Naan I had I found to be a bit thin and crispy but I ordered a second and it was better. I also found the rice to be a bit dry. Not an issue when eaten with the currie but an obersavtion. Overall I enjoyed the food here and I would come here again. They have only been open for a month so seems like a great new spot.

EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS RESTAURANT WAS GREAT!! first of all congratulations for your new location in evergreen, Saskatoon. We are so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes drive away from home. Went there for my birthday with my friend. The interior of the restaurant is first thing you are going to notice while entering, they have the best color combinations, walpapers and even the best cutlery i’ve ever seen. 2. Second, the food is an unmatch, ( tried gol gappe, aloo tikki, chana bhatura, rabri and mango mojito) after so long i have tasted good indian food. Wide variety of indian drinks and deserts. we will be making a reservation for our next visit in advance . When they get to know its my birthday they added some flowers on the table which made my day perfect and more special. 10 of 10 for every single aspect of this meal, and this is coming from people who know and love great food! Just hoping they start serving alchohol soon. :)
