Subway — Restaurant in Saskatoon

Not worth a return visit. I was disappointed with this location on Thatcher Ave in Saskatoon. Found that my sub sandwich was very short on vegetables when I had requested extras. My son found a black hair in his sub and brought it back. Nothing turns me off quicker than bad personal hygiene and hair in my food. Instead of skip the dishes, skip this subway and find another location.

**Post update- Received an email from the manager of this subway apologizing on the behalf of the staff and for the hair in the sandwich. Nothing was said about the food quality or lack thereof. Was told a coupon for a discounted or free sub was in the mail. It’s been over a 3 months and nothing has arrived. In my opinion this is a subway that doesn’t live up to its slogan of...

I recently visited this Subway location, and while the food and atmosphere were great, my experience with one of the employees was disappointing. The lady who served me seemed completely uninterested, behaved rudely, and lacked basic customer service skills. She didn’t add the veggies properly, and when I specifically asked for lettuce, she refused, saying she had to do it her way, which made no sense.

On the other hand, there was a male employee, likely new, who provided excellent service—he was polite, helpful, and professional.

It’s frustrating when someone in a customer-facing role, possibly a manager, behaves this way, especially towards people from their own community. I hope the management addresses this issue to improve the...

A girl Alice helped us, she put ham after I told her roast beef, then put the sandwich into the oven after I told her no toast. That’s all ok, but what I don’t like is she cut 1/3 of the 6” off for both my kids’ meal, the middle big 1/3 part off. Then she whispers to the guys twice “these are kids meal”. Maybe she want him to be cheap out on the vegetables or something. The whole experience was very uncomfortable. She gave me the impression that she literally nickel and dim the already small kids meals. We have never felt this way in other subway.
