Nestled along Highway 11 in Severn, Tim Hortons stands as a beacon of coffee and pastries for weary travelers and locals alike. Having recently stopped by this charming establishment, I can confidently say that it offers both a fun and professional experience, with just a couple of minor hiccups.

First and foremost, let’s talk about the staff—the heart and soul of any establishment. The team at Tim Hortons off Highway 11 is truly exceptional. Their warm smiles and friendly demeanor instantly make you feel welcome, creating an inviting atmosphere that enhances the overall experience. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, they go the extra mile to ensure your satisfaction.

However, it’s worth mentioning that there seems to be a slightly high turnover rate among the staff. While the dedication and service remain top-notch, it would be even more enjoyable to see familiar faces during each visit. Nevertheless, this doesn’t dampen the positive vibes that permeate the place.

Now, onto the matter of the cream—ah, the cream, the crowning glory of many a beverage. While the majority of my visits have been delightful, there have been a few occasions where the cream has been less than satisfactory. Unfortunately, it was sour and curdled, which can be a letdown for those who appreciate a perfectly creamy cup of joe. I do hope Tim Hortons can address this issue promptly to maintain the high standards they are known for.

Despite these minor setbacks, I must reiterate that my overall experience at Tim Hortons off Highway 11 in Severn has been delightful. The combination of a fantastic staff and a vibrant atmosphere make it a go-to destination for a quick caffeine fix or a tasty treat. I either get the nicest staff at the window or worst. I’ve been consistently going to this location for the past 4 years because I live in the area and recently I’ve received the worst customer service (speaking from someone who’s also worked and is part of management in the customer service industry). Some of the staff act like they don’t have the time of day for you (whether it’s busy or not) and rush you through where you order in the drive thru and don’t give me the chance to correct what they’ve repeated back incorrectly or not letting me finish saying the rest of my order.

The other day they repeated the order back and I told them it was incorrect and corrected them. I get to the window and they still try to hand me the incorrect drink and the one lady walks over to the window and tries to tell me this is exactly what I ordered while giving me attitude. Keep in mind I was not rude or snarky because I know what it’s like to deal with customers who are such but I still received dirty looks even though I just asked for my correct order. Even actually today when I went through the drivethru I received dirty looks I guess they remember me or maybe this is how they treat all their customers?

I’ve also received an iced capp about a month or 2 ago that had a broken coffee stirrer inside which I didn’t notice until I was more than half done my drink. Then again accidents do happen but that’s a little concerning considering what would’ve happened if I didn’t notice and choked or if a younger child had something like that in their drink?

Again I’ve had good experiences with other staff that are extremely friendly but those do not make up for the negative experiences I’ve been having recently...

Management is absolutely horrible . They have messed my order up 3 times in a row now .. my food was butchered to the point I didn’t eat it because multiple items were thrown on it that were not supposed to be on it . Owners need to step up and fix their problems . I’m sick and tired of ordering food and paying for it then when I got home and checked it , it was so poorly made I didn’t eat it and they refused to fix the problem . I don’t think the owner understands it cost gas and money and time to drive there and pay for food that is not what you ordered … today I was told after about 75$ I spent on different meals not including my gas and time that they would not fix the problem. I’m outraged I’ve order sandwich’s and soup that was not fit for a person to eat and they refused to make it right . They refunded my money for one meal that was messed up . Clearly this is not just an issue for me as I can see there are many negative reviews written here . My chilli was brown water in a cup and each one of my other orders were completely messed up . I went in to speak with management and of course no one ever got back to me . When I spoke to the owner all he wanted was to give me a lousy 25$ gift card which doesn’t even pay for one of the orders they messed up for me … considering there were four different occasions with multiple items messed up … ie different items thrown in and items missing . The coffee is consistently good. I can’t say much else about the place that isn’t somewhat negative. The drive-through is rammed…ALL the time…that or because of how tremendously slow the drive through is….it just seems rammed all the time. The drive through was meant to be faster, for folks going to work, or school. The drive through was originally intended for coffee and doughnuts. Maybe it’s time to get back to that?!?! Over 4 minutes in the drive through is absurd. More often than not the restaurant only has 1 or 2 guests inside, yet overwhelmed by the line at the drive through….the counter is always a long wait also. They can’t argue there aren’t enough staff working because I’ve never seen less than 5 people working. That’s ludicrous. The shelves, with the exception of around 10 minutes after opening are always sparsely stocked. It looks like a hurricane has blown through behind the counter, every time we visit. The coffee is hot, and that’s why we go! I feel bad for the staff working, because they don’t get paid enough, and management needs to address so many things, it can’t be easy to work there.

Around 6:30pm (15 min away from Washago) when I opened and was shocked to find that the wrap had Chicken and bacon even though I ordered a meatless wrap. I Immediately called their number and mentioned it to them regarding it. The guy who answered my call was totally cluesless, he mentioned it was buzy and all. I mean their was noone behind me and were only 2 cars ahead me. Bottom line, This is highly unacceptable. I could’ve been allergic or it could’ve been absolutely against my belief system. This is serious and should never be repeated.

I usually don't share reviews that much, but I just could'nt help myself due to my recent experience. I ordered Cilantro lime veggie loaded wrap and an Ice coffee from this Tim’s on Friday around 6pm as I was on my way to Ottawa and wanted to grab something for my way.
