King Shawarmas — Restaurant in Sherbrooke

It's great tasting Middle Eastern food at a great price. You won't be disappointed. Hands down the best in the area. I usually get the chicken plate or sandwich (which goes under the name Shwarma or Shish Taou depending on the eatery).

It's located on King Hill near Ball. Access is through the rear from the public parking area (you can park on Ball too and walk) or the alley. The restaurant is located on the mezzanine of the former bank (look for the sign). It's really just a few tables. Most people take out.

The service can be slow. While you wait, check out the fresh fish and meats from the grocery store the eatery is housed in. There is also a host of other products and produce from the Middle...

J'ai commandé le plateau de poulet shawarma, la salade fattoush et un baklava pour la livraison.

Je ne m'attendais pas à cette taille de portion. C'était VRAIMENT généreux. En plus de la quantité, la qualité était superbe. Dans la plupart des endroits, le poulet que je reçois est sec mais pas ici ! Il était si savoureux. À essayer absolument.

Leur salade de fattoush était très bonne aussi, mais un peu trop de sauce à mon avis.

Et n'oubliez pas leur baklava ! Sucré mais pas trop et toujours croustillant et rempli d'une pâte rempli de noix.

Dans l'ensemble, c'était vraiment délicieux et ils donnent des portions vraiment généreuses. Je le recommande !

I ordered the chicken shawarma platter, the fattoush salad and a baklava for delivery.

I didn't expect this size of portion. It was REALLY generous. Aside from quantity, the quality was superb. From most places, the chicken I get is dry but not here! It was moist and so flavourful. Definitely a must try.

Their fattoush salad was really good too but a bit heavy on the sauce I think.

And don't forget their baklava! Sweet but not too sweet and still crispy.
