Sand Witches Food Truck — Restaurant in South Bruce Peninsula

This isn't your typical overhyped and overpriced food truck, you actually get the portion sizes you pay for. A single poutine is large enough for two people, three if you're also getting a burger or sausage, and they were generous with the cheese curds. Service was fast, we ordered and were served within five minutes, though it was on a rainy day. It would be nice if they had some umbrellas or pavilion to set over the picnic tables, I imagine they'd come in handy on sunny summer days as much as they would in the cooler rainy seasons. A sure stop whenever we pass through town. Feeds my family of 5 without breaking the bank, and it comes in massive portions. It's great to pick up for a drive or sit down on site and eat. Their classic poutine is everything you'd hope a poutine should be, and the smoke house sandwich is true to the name. We haven't had one option of their menu that has been a disappointment, and we've had it all. There is tons of parking, and it's never a long wait. You won't regret stopping in for a meal. The sandwiches here are probably the best in Wiarton. Prices may seem high at first glance but they give you a huge portion of fries with all of them. The debit machines they use also don't nag you for gratuity which is a huge plus in this day and age. The guy who usually serves you is also pretty friendly, there's ample parking, it's right downtown and there's even a port o john. My only bit of criticism would be I wish they offered a sandwich only option for the days when my appetite can't handle any more spuds. Worth the stop if you're passing...
