We have been using this place for years. It has had its ups and downs, but it seems like more downs than ups as of late. The two biggest problems as of late: what happened to the crust? It seems like they are using the dough from a pizza one size smaller. it rolls out super thin. Toppings/cheese aren't always even either. Big empty spots - not always properly cooked, etc... But that isnt the worst part. If you order something and they get it wrong - its your fault. Just be prepared for that. Most recently I ordered a deal, they billed me for something more expensive (not sure what) exta $5 - whatever, then told me that I actually ordered something else, which didnt make any sense because if that were true then they overcharged me by $15 and gave me extra stuff that wasnt on that deal. It was of course my fault that I did this, so I begrudginly left paying $5 too much for not enough stuff. This weekend my wife and I had a discussion and decided that it was worth the time and gas to go to owen sound and get pizza from a different company. I give two stars because I don't think the people are the problem- this restaurant is managed poorly. The manager is not properly training staff on communication skills (to get orders straight) best practices (to ensure quality) or effective ways at dealing with customer service issues (as is evidenced by many other reviews). This may be the only pizza shop in wiarton, but they have to stop acting like it or others will do what we have done and just go to the next town. It really isnt that far of a drive. Hopefully NOP management can read this and make some...

I ordered a 19” pizza online. I got a call from a 241 pizza call centre (apparently the same place?) to tell me the restaurant can’t make this pizza. I asked for an equivalent amount of pizza in sizes the restaurant could make. 2x 14” pizzas is close. Should be a no brainer?
Apparently not. NOP decided that I should pay $5 more for this inconvenience, and the call centre would need to check with the restaurant. Honestly, I didn’t care at the time. I asked the person I was speaking with to make sure the pizza would start cooking either way.
I went into the local supermarket for a moment and missed a call. Voicemail said: No, the restaurant won’t make a comparable amount of pizza either.
What is this place good for? Not pizza, they don’t seem to like making pizza.
So I had to call the restaurant and then call centre back to get a refund, which I’m told will be processed in a few days.
Awful experience. Looking forward to supporting any other Wiarton business in the future. If this review deters you from ordering, give it a like so NOP knows they lost more than $5
(OK maybe this is not an actual scam but NOP Wiarton has customer service bad enough it may as...
Read moreWe visited New Orleans Pizza in Wiarton and were blown away by the food and service!
We started with the Tandoori Garlic Bread—crispy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. The Chicken Caesar Pizza was another standout, loaded with toppings and packed with flavor. My two nephews, who are usually picky eaters, ordered Cheese Pizzas and absolutely loved them. Seeing kids happily finish their meals says it all!
To top it off, we had the chance to try their brand-new Strawberry Cheesecake they’re launching. I’ll be honest—I have high standards when it comes to cheesecake, but this one impressed me. It was smooth, rich, and honestly reminded me of Cheesecake Factory quality—an unexpected treat at a pizza place!
The staff were warm and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. Between the quality food, the friendly service, and that amazing cheesecake, this is hands down a must-visit spot in Wiarton.
The food was so good the pictures don't do it justice.
10/10 next time I'm passing through Wiarton I know where...
