I decided to check out this new Caribbean place in town to try out the authentic oxtail. As a fellow, Caribbean person, I went into the establishment with low expectations as I have been disappointed in the past by 'authentic Caribbean restaurants' in other small towns. Let me just say the oxtail was on point! The portion was very generous and the atmosphere made me feel like I was back in the tropics. I returned the next day to try the jerk chicken and again the food was top notch! I will highly recommend this place to anyone living or passing through Exeter.

The food? Nice bad bad! I came through and got the curry goat, my wife had the oxtail—and every bite was a hit! The rice and peas were tender and full of flavour, and that goat? Fall-off-the-bone soft and seasoned to perfection. Pure satisfaction on a plate!

I really wanted to love this but I was left unimpressed. I was super excited to have something new in town and finally something other than fast food. I ordered jerk chicken and food was cold, had to reheat everything once I got home (I live 2 min away). The portion size was on a positive note but thought the flavours to be very bland.
