Water View — Restaurant in South Stormont

First time here. Restaurant & Pizzeria, family restaurant, with Takeout menu. Pleasantly surprised. An inviting interior atmosphere, clean interior and surfaces. Windows spotless! Magenta orbs pleasing to the eyes. (Original? Owners Sri Lankan). Wall colour suitably muted. Acoustics kind and can absorb a high spirited child better than many (family restaurant), and I am sensitive to screaming kids. Had good tasting pea soup with some veggies, good medium rare rib steak, excellent Greek potatoes, vegetables that were: (wet is the best description) (roasted might have been a better solution). Fountain drink the taste ratio seemed slightly off, but adequate, hot black tea. Desserts were jello, cherry cheescake which was just slightly drier than I had anticipated, and a very tasty bread pudding. The personable, informative and friendly Ashley served me on Friday evening. I would return, to check out their Waterview Special pizza, and their Souvlaki offerings. They offer so many items. Less is sometimes better...

Got the super sub tonight from Water View… this was definitely the best sandwich I’ve ever had, and perhaps the best food of any kind I’ve ever had. The steak, veggies and dressing were perfect, but that bun… I don’t even know what to say. I don’t think there are words in English to properly describe it. Anyway, we’ve been going here for breakfast, lunch and dinner many times over the years while in town visiting family and it’s always been so damn good. Check this place out, it’ll be worth it!

Edit: haha, I actually called the restaurant to tell them how much we enjoyed it, and the person who answered the phone (pretty sure it was the owner or manager) passed the phone to the cook so they could hear it directly. That was a really nice, and unexpected thing...

This is the place you need to go to for an amazing meal, and the friendliest service anywhere. We found it on Google, read the reviews and had a fantastic supper there last night served by Carol, who simply loves to see her customers enjoy their food and share a little chatter making total strangers feel like they are in her own "home"..this is a "Family Restaurant" style food, definately prepared with home style love and attention.

Never ate there before but anytime we are within 50 km we will head there for the best choices of food and if Carol is not there, I'm sure one of the other excellent staff we saw working will meet or try to exceed her very high bar.. thank you for a super supper...
