Great View, Terrible Coffee & Food ā Never Again!
This place has a fantastic view and a nice vibe, but thatās literally the only good thing about it. The coffee is absolutely horrible. I ordered a cortado, and it tasted like sour, burnt dishwater. Clearly, the person working the espresso machine isnāt a trained barista (not their fault), but the owner should be ashamed for not dialing in the settings properly. How hard is it to serve a decent espresso-based drink?
And donāt even get me started on their "bar" (if you can call it that). The ingredients had zero cohesion. it just fell apart like a sad, deconstructed mess. I had to scoop it up with a spoon like some kind of desperate soup eater. Who designed this?
I gave this place a second chance because so many locals rave about it, but nopeāstill terrible. Even their tea is just a cheap, generic tea bag, far from anything artisanal or special.
Overhyped, overrated, and underwhelming. Save your money and go somewhere that actually cares about quality. Never...

The coffee itself is smooth and decadent without being overwhelming. The beans to take home aren't the cheapest, but they're fresh and worth every penny.
The atmosphere is unique, cozy yet spacious at the same time. Facing south, the space gets a lot of natural light which is a quality I always appreciate. There's even a little gift shop incorporated into the space that people can look at before grabbing their drinks.
I wouldn't reccomend this space if you're with a larger group, but a party of four I think would be the perfect amount of people...

Yesterday morning Paige (LPN) said her friend with the same first name had just opened a new coffeehouse next to The Backyard Pub in Valleycliffe & suggested I try it out. At about 11 am I also received a call from Steven Chua (reporter for the Squamish Chief) so I suggested we meet there. I walked there in 10 minutes & ordered a Not Sausage Roll & a chocolate brownie with my Hot Chocolate (Dark Chocolate). Steven arrived about 15 minutes later & it was great as a meeting place as that area is very quiet. Food & atmosphere was excellent & great views from the...
