So I'll start by saying this is partially my fault I shouldn't blindly trust. I was scammed out of my money. I'm American and only has the US dollar on me for cash. I asked if I could pay in US Dollar. The waitress (probably mid 30s early 40s long brown hair) told me I could. All I had was a $100 US. She took the $100 and gave me $120 Candian. I didn't even think twice. Well based on today's exchange rate she should have given me $137.20. Dishonest people in this world are what make this world what it is... I guess she got what was coming though because when we paid with the Canadian my kids were so excited about the change and getting Canadian money I completely forgot to tip. I was going to mail her a tip and when I was looking up how much to mail her is when I realized she shorted us from the beginning. She played the part very well. She was overly nice and even helped us look up boarder crossing wait times. Anyway, if you are looking for an honest place to have a meal,...

If you are looking for a fantastic place for breakfast in St Catharines, sunrise Cafe is the place to go. The menu is extensive, with so many great options that there is something for everyone. The service is terrific and waitresses are very friendly, helpful, and cheerful (even in the face of being very busy). The place is very popular but we were very lucky, we were seated immediately. The food was well prepared, delicious, and beautifully presented.

As you pay your bill at the register, you are greeted by hundreds of gorgeous buttertarts. They are becoming almost more famous for their butter tarts than their breakfasts, which is quite a feat.

We picked up a box of 6 of their beautiful butter tarts for our #buttertartquest. Some flavour we chose: oreo, peanut butter chocolate, and much more.

The price of meals is very reasonable, the food is exquisite, the service exceptional, and buttertarts....so...

My queen and I stopped by this spot because we were craving something home-cooked. I went with the soup and peameal on a Kaiser, while she had the sausage, eggs, and toast. The breakfast was absolutely delicious—nothing felt rushed or greasy, just good, honest cooking.

What really made the experience special was the service. It felt like being at my grandparents’ place so welcoming, comfortable, and attentive. From the outside, it looks like a small spot, but there's surprisingly plenty of room inside.

The real standout, though, was the desserts. All homemade by the owner, and you can taste the love in every bite. The butter tarts were out of this world, and the apple fritter which I honestly thought was a donut at first was fresh, sweet, and tasted like something you'd find at a county fair.

Great job to the team. I'll...

After a 4-day business function in Niagara Falls, we wanted to find a breakfast place on the way to the airport that wasn’t going to break the bank account! We found this local gem on google map. When we entered the restaurant there was only one table left and we were excited because we knew it was going to be good! We ordered Greek omelettes and pancakes. VERY generous portions and we felt bad because none of us could finish our breakfasts! Highly recommend this “husband and wife” owned and operated business! But beware, get there early!! There was a lineup of people waiting for a table right after we sat down! To those individuals who gave reviews criticizing the prices, have you gone grocery shopping lately? Jeez! Reasonably priced for the value we received! We arrived with an appetite and left with a full tummy and a happy soul!

A great family breakfast stop! Very welcoming staff with amazing customer service. The eggs were delicious, meat cooked perfectly and they even added onions to the hash browns. My wife got the eggs Benedict and she said it was very good but the waitress was unhappy with the hollandaise quality and brought a new one over without even having to ask. My only issues were the hash browns were a little burnt and needed extra seasoning due to this and the tea/coffee wasn't anything to scream about. They also specialize in butter tarts so we snagged some on the way out. We will definitely be back to try more!
