TacOasis — Restaurant in St. Catharines

Nope. I get pretty upset when I spend a lot of money on something that I could do a far better job making myself. The shrimp taco was dry. I was not able to eat the corn tortilla. I kid you not. I could not chew through it. I'm not talking crunchy - Im talking saddle leather. The sandwich, was 99.9% a giant, not great, bun with very little inside of it, and I ordered three toppings on that sad-wich. Our order was two sandwiches, two single tacos and my husband tried the rice dish - which was a tiny little bowl of completely unimpressive rice and with a child's handful of corn- a sad offering - I felt sorry for it. Me and my husband had the best experience visiting Tacoasis for the first time today; we were super excited to try it since Friday night, but didn’t get a chance, we went the next day and it was closed due to a generator problem; we were about to turn around and leave and to our surprise the owner came out and let us know he would low key serve us what he had on hand I was iffy about trying the chicken tacos as I’m not usually a big fan of chicken tacos but these were hands down the best chicken tacos we’ve ever had! While pumping gas. In the distance, a glowing food truck casts silhouettes through its foggy windows, spewing out this amazing aroma. I couldn't resit!

Anthony and his crew are a great example of customer service long gone. Super helpful and accommodating. You can't help but notice their passion and eagerness to please.

The tacos are super tasty and made with quality meat and ingredients. They even have a fish and breakfast taco! Unheard of... !!!
