Kate's Cafe and sweet treats — Restaurant in St. Thomas

I was in the cafe with some friends for homemade soup, pretzels bun, and herbal tea. It was amazing. I have never been tea a high tea before. When I saw Kate's Cafe was offering this on Mother's Day I thought what a perfect gift for my mom. The table was set up and waiting for us, Kate greeted us, set us up at our table, we had a herbal tea that Kate recommended, amazing . Loved the little tea pots, then our food came out. So delicious , filling, loved the fact everything was homemade, thank you Kate's mom, jam yummy. Wanted to keep eating as it was so delicious but no room. We had the left overs boxed up and was able to share. Highly recommend to check out Kate's Cafe. Definitely be back....

What an amazing spot for a treat in St. Thomas. I'm celiac so finding places with gluten-free products is difficult. Kate's is the only storefront that I know of in St. Thomas that offers gluten-free.

I had the banana and carrot bread/square and brownie, as well as the Nanaimo and some of her other gf sweets. There is a lot of variety. When I say they are so fresh and moist, I mean it. She really cares about the freshness and the work she puts into her sweets, and it's so nice to support local.

We were doing a little shopping in St. Thomas and Kate's was recommended as a nice place for coffee and a treat. It was all of that for sure. The coffee was one of the best I have had in a long time and I have had coffee from all over most of the world. The treats are very good and home made.
