Grams is excellent value.

Portions are fair, ingredients are top quality, and you can taste the care in every detail. Prices reflect inflation, but still feels fair. I began to feel full after my first 1/4 of a full sandwich, and I like to eat!

The atmosphere is calm and welcoming, with decor that makes you feel cared for. The bread alone reminds you why classics are classics.

Grams isn’t flashy or trend-chasing—it’s simple, traditional, and honest. Chicken salad may never be “exciting,” but here it’s perfect. This place is a high-water mark for what a modern restaurant should be.

I was told this place was known for sandwiches. Until I go inside and they didn't have a single premium sandwich. Then when I order a turkey sandwich they have no turkey left. Okay let's go with a ham and cheese just a procedure to get the worst ham and cheese I've ever gotten they only put mustard and mayonnaise on it in a little bit of seasoning with processed cheese on the saddest piece of bread I've ever had. I visit New Glasgow frequently for business and visiting Gram’s is one if the highlights of my trip. The fresh bread is ridiculously delicious. The tomato cheddar soup & sandwich is something that I desperately crave by the next time I am visiting. The warm reception from those lovely ladies when you walk in makes you feel so welcome. I look forward to those brief moments of chat. This place is legendary.
