I recently downloaded the online App and as quoted on its promotion " to avoid lineups" I ordered and paid for my families meal. The pick up time as confirmed online was supposed to be 4:15. I arrived 5 minutes early only to be told it would be at least 15 more minutes and that my order was " far down in the que". As i waited i watched as "drive through" orders and "in store" orders were being filled. I was the only costumer waiting for an online order. I am pretty sure a drive through order would not have been in front of my order "in the que" or nor should have new costumers ordering at the counter. I had already paid online for the $60 order so could not cancel and leave. I waited for 28 minutes making me late for an appointment. Not happy with that or the fact that when i finally got the order the server put 4 cans of pop and 4 salads in the smallest paper bag behind the counter and before i got into my car the whole side of the bag ripped open and it went everywhere !! If the APP option is available at your store then to live up to its purpose of avoiding lineups and wait time I believe your store needs to review how these orders can be fulfilled by the pick up time stated and confirmed to...
Read moreI went to this location arrived i drive thru at 7:37pm. I did not even get my order taken until 8:12pm kids poppin meal, taters and brisk. I waited at the window for 20 mins without ever being acknowledged nor having my money taken. I watched as the man on drive thru avoided making eye contact with me, he ducked to the back a cpl times to have a drink while the only other person I saw was serving front counter and bagging all orders for both drive thru and counter. Usually it isnt THAT bad here and I think it had to do with the Santa parade and a huge influx of people getting take out BUT as a business owner or manager that should have been accounted for and EXTRA staff should have been put on along with having chicken ready not only putting down a batch per order. I am writing to complaint about your staff in poor attitude to customer. I formally sent the complaint letter to your MB website but there is no response till now.
On Feb 5, 2025, around 11:15am, my husband and I had lunch in your restaurant. Your staff, who is from India. When he gave the meals to me, his finger keep pointing to me in the conversation. For me, I feel extremely offensive. I would like to reply to him not to do this gesture. But, he got away impolitly. Overall, MaryBrown provided a very good service and excellent chicken in the past. But, the problem is if this staff continued to treat the customer in this inappropriate manner, this is not acceptable. I hope Mary Brown should educate the staff not to put their own culture in Canada. Someone feel offensive.
