King Palace Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Strathmore

Please take these reviews with a grain of salt, yes prices of food go up when inflation increases, and yes you are going to be refused a refund when you eat all of your food AND THEN bring the classic “there was hair in food.” Interestingly upon showing up with 6 people and the restaurant being over half full, the food was delivered faster than any restaurant I’ve been at in Strathmore, for Chinese food it’s about what you expect. Not to mention I’ve never seen people act so disrespectful and out of line, and I hope the owners don’t have to deal with adults that act like children and try to scam them for meals much longer. Should also mention the lady saying customers and staff ganged up on her, um that was me and only me and you got caught in a lie, you absolutely did not speak quietly and instead made a scene and disrupted everyone eating in peace, on top of that what person eats all $55 of their meal with hair in it when they can just bring to them upon finding a single strand. The place was very unorganized. I watched my waitress ask for my plate numerous times, and it still didnt come out of the kitchen. It seemed like one of the female kitchen staff members, was trying to override our waitress and serve our tables plates twice, everything BUT the plate we were missing. And than when we asked to have the plate we didnt get served, removed from our bill, the owner was disgruntle and rude with our waitress. Appreciate the waitresses professional courtesy but she was as distressed with the kitchens/owners performance as I was, will NOT be returning because of the management and the lack of coordination in the building. Not a good place to work or eat it seems. Not Impressed at all. They will need to do a lot of improvements regarding management and how they run...

This place is severely unorganized. My in laws main order came out almost instantly, before their wonton soup. The food was only warm, not hot. I ordered chicken fried rice and received it last, despite it being a part of all 4 of our orders. My fiancé and I’s plates took forever to come out, and they got my fiancé’s order wrong twice (she ultimately ended up receiving chop suey instead of her requested chow mein. My rice was very over done and almost mush. We were very disappointed (and seemingly so were most of the tables in the restaurant tonight). We looked forward to trying it after hearing it was staff from the More Than Just Ice Cream restaurant... sad to see it fell short. Hopefully things improve...
