KFC — Restaurant in Sussex

My visit was unfortunately, far from satisfactory. The main issue? The restaurant had nothing. No fountain pop (had to buy bottles) and no ketchup, and they only told us that after buying the meals. For a place that serves fries and other condiments-heavy foods, this felt like a glaring oversight. They could easily get a bottle of ketchup at the grocery store near them or even try to find a solution. Also our fries were cold, which didn't help.

To make matters worse, the staff seemed completely uninformed about their menu. I had a simple order and the cashier seemed to not know what I was ordering I had to tell him what was in it exactly and the name and the price to get my order right.

What really sealed this as a bad experience was the lack of any effort to make up for these shortcomings. There was no compensation or substitute offered—no free gravy (had to pay for a tiny gravy), no extra sauce, nothing. It felt like they didn’t care about the inconvenience caused to customers.

A fast-food restaurant thrives on efficiency, customer service, and basic amenities like condiments. Sadly, this location missed the mark on all fronts. I hope they can improve their inventory management and train their staff better because, as of now, I wouldn’t recommend this...

When we visited. my husband ordered and because seating is limited right now, I went to find a table. Looking around it was clear most of the tables were dirty. Then I saw one that looked ok.As I was getting ready to sit down two older ladies said" don't sit there. That table has had 2 other people sit there and it hasn't been cleaned since we got here". I said "well they will be cleaning it now. I went up and said ask to have the table cleaned and at the same time told him that none of the other tables are clean either!! Then as we were eating I looked around. The place was FILTHY!!! We threw the rest of the food I the trash and walked out!! We WON'T be back!! The photo included is the floor near the pop machine. This place is a classic case of poor communication, poor training and poor practices. The people themselves are nice and friendly and genuine. The food is truly good by KFC standards. Every KFC in all of Mississauga and Brampton could take a lesson on food quality and just being pleasant from this location. Sincerely.

So why 3 stars?

Your order will often be wrong. They won’t be prepared and you’ll have to wait an excessive amount of time. They won’t notice the problems they should be noticing. I’ve ordered from here at least a dozen times in the last 6 months and we’ve had issues worth mentioning on 3 occasions that come to mind easily. It makes doing business with them often...
