VISIT OF 09.02.25 at 4:49 P.M. We decided to go out to eat since it was Harold's Birthday and I am so glad we did because we not only had delicious food, Steak Sandwich and Clubhouse, both with very tasty french fries, but we also had the pleasure of have Chrissy as our Server. Talk about personality!! Wow! Chrissy has a fantastic personality, is an excelled Server and she really enhanced our evening out which is more important to me because going out to eat is a real treat now, as everyone is cutting back on the good stuff. I cannot thank Chrissy enough for making our meal so much more enjoyable. Kudos to you Chrissy!! VISIT OF 03.14.25 Last minute decision but what a great decision it was. Our Server, Jessica, readily told us it was her first day BUT I would never have guessed that because she is FANTASTIC! She has great personality, a welcoming smile, a great sense of timing (not coming to the table too often and disrupting our meal) and she is a delight! We both had a Clubhouse and the toast was exactly the way I like it and the sandwich was very filling, the baked chips instead of french fries was my perfect choice and he had the french fries which he sad was very good. The entire meals was perfect and I think Jessica is already an EXCELLENT Server! Thank you, Jessica!! VISIT OF 06.13.24 - My Spouse and I went to dinner. Our Server, Erika, was AWESOME! She was like a bright light with an endless smile. The Clubhouse sandwiches and french fries were delicious! We had a great dining experience. Thanks Erika!! VISIT OF 04.16.24 My awesome longtime Friend, Brigitte, came down from Quebec and we had a fantastic time, delicious meal, fun and catch up conversation and an EXCELLENT Server, Chrissy. Chrissy is like the Energizer Bunny with a huge smile, great personality and serving skills; Chrissy knows when to approach the table and when not to, it is uncanny how she can read her customers. Thanks for helping to make this lunch an even better time for both of us. LATEST VISIT: I threw a Get To Know Your Neighbors Dinner for six people on January 17, 2024. I made a reservation with Yvette who was so very nice and helping in choosing the right seating. I arrived first to find that Yvette made a card for the middle of table, quite artistic too, which read Meet Your Neighbors and I was so very happily surprised when I saw it. Thank you, Yvette. Our Server was Noah B. and he was amazing! I had informed him how I wanted the bill to be and he caught on right away. He served our appetizers and dinners with just the right amount of spacing in between. He was attentive without being disruptive. He has a winning personality and a fabulous smile. The dinners included two club sandwiches, Buffalo Chicken Sandwiches, Cajun Beef Tips, Spinach Dip, Peanut Butter Hamburger, Delicious Cheesecakes. Everything was PERFECT and Noah was top notch the whole time we were there. The nite went just as I had planned and I thank Yvette for her artistic addition to the table and I give major kudos to Noah!! 01.19.24 The club sandwich and fries were excellent AND our Server, Valentia was AWESOME!!!!!!! Went back on March 16th and Emily T. was just as AWESOME as was the food, the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. Cannot wait to go back! Went back on March 28, 2023 and our Server, Valentina, was GREAT as was the Tuesday Burger Deluxe and the Club House was delicious. Again, I cannot...
Read moreThe management here is the worst and the same goes for customer service!! They should put someone that has people skills and knows how to be under pressure. So this is what happens, I came on a busy night apparently and there was no pool tables available ALL OF THE SEATS WERE RESERVED FOR A BIRTHDAY PARTY, why not just closed the whole place for the night? because they want more money, so whatever we couldn’t touch anything because everything was for the party. We tried to take ONE chair so we could put our stuff somewhere instead of the floor and the waitress tells us that we can’t because it belongs to the party, we then ordered a pitcher and guess what? We had to hold it in our hands because NO TABLES RIGHT? so then we finally came across an empty pool table and decided to play for a while, we ordered some tequila shots and they come in PLASTIC CUPS and it wasn’t even a shot it was like whatever’s left on your cup after you’ve finished a drink, NO LIME NO SALT, at first I didn’t want to ruin my night by confronting anyone about it, but 5 minutes later the people seating right next to us get 5 shots in actual shot glasses, so I’m seating there thinking are we less than these people? Are we paying less? Are we not consuming the same as they are? So even I don’t wanted to I felt like management needed to know about this because thats the only way they can improve the service you know. I find the manager and respectfully explain to her the situation and that giving customers plastic cups is unacceptable and she tells me that when they are busy they give customer those because there’s no clean shot glasses, so then I tell her that 1. That’s fine if you give the customer the option of waiting for them to be clean or let them know that they are getting plastic cups and let them decide. And 2. That the people sitting right next to us got shot glasses just a couple of minutes after us. So I’ve been a manager in the customer service front line before and I’m expecting at least some apologies and acknowledgment from her and why not... throw in there an “it won’t happen again”. Guess what I received? And I’m quoting her on this “so that already happened what do you want me to do, you can either go on and enjoy the rest of your night or leave...” At that point I knew that was going nowhere and unfortunately she didn’t have the skills to be a manager so I went back to my pool table asked for the check and left. The waitress came and apologized on behalf of the manager and she was actually nice but our experience was already ruined. I spent a total of $223.86 that night and do you think it was even closed to a decent experience? Worth it? Well no I don’t think so, I won’t be coming in again and I’m leaving this here in the hopes that you don’t go through the same...
Read moreThat was probably one of my most horrible dining experiences I’ve ever had unfortunately! We had to share one menu for the table. We weren’t provided with a drink menu (the waitress said they were only circulating ONE amongst all the patrons due to minimum staff during COVID). We weren’t provided any plates or cutlery for our appetizers. We had to ask and didn’t even receive an apology or even acknowledgement about the error. I proceeded to order the chicken quesadillas but was told that they were only being served with chicken and cheese (no cilantro, beans, sour cream or any other of the menu noted accompaniments) due to modifications in the menu during COVID. When asked if we could have our umbrella tilted to block out the sun (34 C on the patio) the waitress told us to do it ourselves even though she could see we were trying to handle our saucy chicken wraps. I understand that everyone is somewhat agitated with COVID restrictions and the intense heat but as the saying goes...”if you can’t handle the heat get out of the kitchen”. Perhaps the management and servers at Johnny Shotz aren’t cut out for the service industry. I’ll never return and will make sure to share my poor experience with...
