I ordered dinner for 4 for takeout last Friday. When I picked it up and tapped my credit card I noticed I had been overcharged $23.00. I explained to server that I had ordered from their online menu with pricing on their website (eg. Ribeye steak I ordered for $30.00 was charged $40.00). He said it was an old menu 2 or 3 years old. He did not offer me a refund of overcharged amount. After thinking about it overnight I decided to contact owner. After calling 3 or 4 times and leaving messages twice, Angelo, the owner called me back. He was antagonistic and argued that the menu was an old one. After explaining this was advertised price and he should honour it he told me to come in at 3:00 to pick up money. When I arrived had to explain again to wait staff before they went to back to get him for me. He then slapped $25.00 on the bar, argued that it was old pricing, and he had been in business a long time and knew his business.. In a loud voice he then said “I don’t need your business” and don’t come back because they wouldn’t serve me. By this time I was shaking and nearly in tears. How could a business owner treat a customer like this, especially a 70 year old woman. Needless to say I, along with over 600 people who have shared on Facebook, will not be eating at your restaurant. If you have been ordering from online menu check your receipts. It is now over a week later and the old menu is still online. Beware, check your bill...

Unfortunately our experience at Fratelli was very disappointing. Our server was nice and food came out quickly, however, the only enjoyable dish we ordered was the arancini - it was SO good!

The bruschetta was not even close to what the menu described. Instead the bread was topped with a smear of possibly ricotta, prosciutto and tomatoes from a can - literally. If it tasted good it would not be a problem but the combo was awful.

For mains we had pollo parmigiana which was good enough, veal with mushrooms and truffle fries, lamb shank and pappardelle - presentation on this was rough, the different sauces do not go well together and the pappardelle tasted like it was cooked in dirty water, the short rib with mashed potatoes - mashed potatoes were delicious but the short rib not so much.

We tried to order three different bottles of wine - all were out. Server told us an app special and a main special. A few minutes later when we ordered the app special, they were out. We were a 5:30 seating on a Saturday night….that’s a little early to be running out of product.

Our group of 7 left with sick stomachs which is concerning especially since we were from different households.

Hopefully this was just a bad night for them, but we will not be going...

Great food 6 people early supper 5:00. all dishes were remarked as very good. I had the Mara Monte with Linguine. best I have ever had I will go back just for that. only comment was the bread basket could have had the ends my wife likes that part of the loaf. So we went back to Fratelli's for a christmas gathering wow the place ws packed and very noisy I guess that could bbe expected. Everyone loved their dishes as far as I could tell but the Mara Monte was not cooked the same. On the menu it does not specify any spices but garlic and evo. My surprise when my mouth was on fire from a hot spice. The managers comment was sometimes their fingers are wet and they catch to many spices. Well your rating is now a 1 . They ruined my meal and even after some milk and some desert at home my mouth is still on fire. A dish that was my favourite I will never order again. What really bothered me is he didn't care businees must be great. I will never praise them again.

Prices are crazy a 12 ounce veal chop $42.00 was part of the specials thats 10 dollars more than their 32.00 ribeye. I can buy both at local grocery store for less than 8.00 and veal is sometimes cheaper...

Fratelli Pasta Grill isn’t just my favorite Italian restaurant—it’s in a league of its own. Hands down, the best Italian food you’ll find this side of the Atlantic. Unless you're hopping on a plane to Italy, nothing else even comes close. From the moment you walk in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel like part of the family. The staff is attentive and genuinely passionate about what they serve. And the food? Simply divine. Every dish is made with love and precision—fresh, authentic, and exploding with flavor. The pasta is house-made, the sauces are perfectly balanced, and every bite tastes like it came straight from a kitchen in Rome or Naples. I've eaten at plenty of Italian restaurants—including the top spots in Windsor—but Fratelli Pasta Grill continues to blow them all away. It’s more than a meal—it’s an experience I look forward to every single time. A true hidden gem. If you love Italian food, this place is non-negotiable.

This was my first visit to this restaurant and it won't be my last. If you like seafood, I highly recommend the calamari - it was exceptionally tasty. A close second to the calamari is the shrimp - it was cooked to perfection with an incredibly tasty sauce, and just a hint of heat. I had the steak special, and that was also quite delicious. The appetizers were so tasty that I wanted to dig in to my main immediately and forgot to take a picture. To round out this culinary experience, we ended the meal with a peanut butter brownie cheesecake. The entire meal, from start to finish, was spectacular. The service, staff, and ambiance added to the experience. A special nod to Kyle for being one of the most personable, efficient servers I've ever met. You have an amazing sense of humour! This restaurant is a definite go-to for anyone wanting a relaxing home-cooked meal away from home.

Tried this restaurant on a recommendation from a local and glad I did! They really know how to do Italian food here in Windsor. I tried the Beef Carpaccio appetizer and the Rigatoni Bolognese. The pasta was cooked perfectly with nice chunks of meat, and I appreciated the bread to soak up the sauce. The amount of beef on the Carpaccio dish was a little bit light, but the flavours and ingredients used were delicious. The presentation of the dish was also really nice.Managed to snag a free New York cheesecake slice too from a coupon from my hotel. The guys working here were all really friendly and provided great service too. Happy I got to try this place and definitely recommend it!
