Recently noticed in Tecumseh, I decided to give Red Swan Pizza à try. They have some gourmet pizzas and items to pick from.
I went for their 4.95$cad 2 item pizza. Yes... 4.95$cad for a personal 8" pizza with ANY 2 of their items PLUS usual tomato sauce and mozzarella PLUS any (or none) of five FREE toppings : fresh cilantro, ginger, chili flakes, garlic and green olives. Standard is sesame seeds on edge of crust. You can have w/out on either regular or thin crust. It is all for a 4.95$cad. Ok, the tax is extra. This special is pick up only.
For some pizzerias all of that could count to 9 items, not counting the tomato sauce.
You even get to choose between regular or house tomato sauce.
I tried lemon shrimps and parmesan. I also asked for free garlic, cilantro and chili flake
It took about 15 minutes to get my 'sample' 4.95$ DIY gourmet pizza. Unfortunately, it was only once at home that I noticed the 3 free toppings were missing. Next time I will check while still at the counter.
The lemon shrimps were small, but lemonly and enough to have a few pieces on the six slices. The Cheeses were fine. The missing garlic, cilantro and chili flake would make a great shrimp pizza.
The pizza was not oily. The crust (regular / thick) was golden brown and not chewy or stiff. It could be eaten without utensils.
Worth a try. There are 22 meats, 14 vers & five cheeses to choose from to top any of there pizzas.
For their 10"/11" pizza, you can even go for keto, gluten friendly or cauliflower crust.
You can also go for any of their 7 all time favorites, 13 traditional or twenty gourmet pizzas.
However, if ordering an 8" pizza, go for the 4.95$ special ! I basically made a gourmet lemon garlic pizza w/out green/red pepper and onions. Adding these 3 toppings adds 3x 1.45$ (= 4.35$) for a total of 9.30$ vs the 11.45$ asked for an 8" #23: "gourmet lemon garlic shrimp pizza") A substantial savings.
3 kinds of salads, 4 kinds of sticks, nachos, potato wedges, classic chicken wings and boneless chicken bites are also available. I would get my wings two doors down from Wild Wings which offers 101 seasonings ...
Combos, including inflation busters are on the menu as well.
The one obvious shortcoming, the largest pizza is only 16". Given available toppings, this is actually a good thing.
Have yourself a few 4.95$ 8" pizzas and try their various toppings. Then you can step up towards a few 16" favorites of your own
Give this growing pizza chain a try.
I still prefer my wife's home...
Read moreAkash here We order from here often. So this time I ordered 4 pizzas at night on my work location (that has not been added to google maps because its still in construction). The guy at reception picked up the call and talked kinda rudely but i could understand its night time i was kinda tired too so i didnt focused much on his way of talking. Me and my crew members were so hungry, first the order was late then. Finally it came and the guy changed the drinks without informing me. While ordering i also told him to put 7 dippings in order. He said repeated it and said it himself. But when order came there were no dippings. So we called the delivery guy he picked up once said talk to store and didnt picked the call after that. I called the store same guy at reception picked and said this is not the kind of pizza store that give dippings free. I said i didnt ask fro them for free i paid for it then he started to argue that i didn't. I was speaking punjabi he said i don't understand that language he said speak english, when i lltalked in english he could barely speak it. He couldn't even make a proper sentence in english when i was talking. That messed up my night my food and most importantly wasted my time. So overall they have zero service not balming the shop but the guy at...
Read moreOrdered on March 10 special $2 personal pizza day. Site said 20 minute wait before I paid, sounds great. If I remember correctly, it was after and not before I paid that they said "Be prepared for unpredictable wait times." Okay, that's understandable from a sales POV, even though I placed it online and it was after I paid rather than before (to my knowledge). That SHOULD NOT mean a 2.5 hour wait and having to stand in line for it in the process. There was a serious lack of preparation and organization. I know the employees are likely not the ones posting these sales tactics, but the company is, and it is the employees & employers being unprofessional. It sounds like other customers couldn't get refunds as well, mainly because the site lies about being able to cancel online without calling and then only giving you the phone number (calling was useless as no one could take calls). The pizza was good though, just keep this in mind if customer service is a big priority of yours or if there is a special like this again, which is not worth it. I kinda got tricked by the $2 pizza add not thinking it was personals, that's my fault though, they're just $2 more on any normal day before 3PM given their big-letter...
