Has to be the worst Tim Hortons in Canada. If itâs not, I feel sorry for anyone living near worse ones than this.
Iâve lived here 4 years and this location is the closest to my house and on my daily commute so unfortunately I am forced to continue shopping here if I want my favourite iced coffee.
It took them 3 years to fix the speakers so they are loud enough to hear over the traffic⊠so I canât complain about that anymore but that shouldâve been fixed LONG ago.
I just sat in the right lane of the drive thru I was the second car and I watched EIGHT CARS get through the left lane ahead of me while me and this poor Subaru owner were trapped in the right lane.
I finally get to the speaker, order my âiced coffee with less cane sugarâ. He clarifies the order 3 times but never puts it on the screen (a bad habit of a lot of Tims I find) so I canât confirm that he has entered it properly. It seems like Starbucks can get a ânon fat low foam latte with 3 shots of vanilla 2 shots of espresso etc etc etcâ no problem but I canât get a coffee with less sugar.
I get to the window and they hand me what appears to be 90% cream. I ask what it is and they said âno sugar extra cream like you orderedâ. I went back and forth trying to confirm whether I was receiving someone elseâs coffee because thatâs not what I ordered. They offer to remake it but I didnât want to hold up the poor guy behind me who had waited just as long as me in the right lane so I just took it and left.
This was just one of MANY terrible experiences at this location and itâs such a helpless feeling because I donât want to scream at the poor employees who are just trying their best to do their jobs. This feels very much like a management problem. I will stop going to this location if I can find another one that is owned by a different franchisee. Itâs the only way I can do anything remotely productive but itâs so crappy knowing that Iâm probably screaming into the void and nothing will change because they just keep making so much money off people who just want their coffee in the morning. A terrible monopoly.
I really hope a competitor opens up on this commute soon cause the only thing that will drive change is if it hits the...
Read moreWalking into this Tim Hortons every morning feels like stepping into an alternate universe where words have no meaning and customer service took an early retirement.
I could literally recite my order in song, sign language, or hieroglyphics, and theyâd still hand me something completely random. I ask for a steeped tea with two milk? Boom, iced capp with three sugars. Bagel with cream cheese? Nope, hereâs a breakfast wrap that looks like it lost a fight. Iâm starting to think they just spin a wheel behind the counter to decide what I get.
But wait, the fun doesnât stop there! The staff greet you with the enthusiasm of a DMV line at 4:59 PM. No hello, no smile, just a dead-eyed stare like youâve personally ruined their day by existing. Itâs like being served by people who lost a bet.
Youâd think with how often they mess up my order, weâd at least be friends by now. But no, Iâm still just âthat annoying person who expects their food to match what they actually paid for.â
Honestly, if chaos is your love language and disappointment is your aesthetic, this is the place for you.
Otherwise? Run. Fast. Preferably to a location that knows the difference between "double-double" and "what the...
Read moreThis place needs to train their staff on good old fashioned âfriendly customer serviceâ. I went inside to place an order as well as ask a question about redeeming points. There was no one else in line and I approached the till where a younger female worker ( blonde with a lot of white makeup and red lipstick) was entering information on the till. Without looking up at me she said âWhat do you want?â rudely as she made me feel I was bothering her. So I didnât answer to give her a moment to finish what she was doing. She looked at me and I told her I could wait till she was done. Then she told me she was on her break. So I told her to bring someone else if she wanted. She called out for someone else and she wasnât very much more friendly as she must have been interrupted from doing something else. I just canât believe that this would be acceptable and I never complain but today I just needed to. This interaction was very upsetting to me and actually ruined my day. Perhaps more training on how to speak to a customer is very much needed. Next time I may not be as patient with this person if I...
