Mr. Puffs — Restaurant in Terrebonne

Mr Puffs is a fantastic place. The concept is unique and I so greatly wish they would open a shop in the USA. Come to the Natick Mall in Massachusetts as your first stop! You’ll do great! Their prices are really fair. They could charge 50% more in the USA, and they would do well. The Puffs were hot, slightly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside every single time I went. The Mont-Olympe option pairs the puffs with ice cream. You can choose the ice cream flavor, the ice cream shell, and the puffs topping. There are so many options. I went with the Dulce De Leche each time. It was too good. Something about the hot puffs with cold ice cream was just splendid. The portion is huge and the sugar is strong! 😝 So I advise sharing with someone. I shared each time and we both left fully satisfied. A third wheel would have also enjoyed and we’d all be happy when you pick the 8 puff option. I can’t speak highly enough of Mr Puffs. I was really impressed. I hope to go again soon. I can only rate the store based on my personal taste, this is not an indictment of the business overall. I got a box delivered through DoorDash last night and it was, ok I guess? I do think the concept is interesting of freshly-made donut holes with your choice of icing but I personally didn't love it. It was good, but I mainly tasted dough. Clearly with the ready-to-order concept, they can't let them sit on a cooling rack to get properly iced, that wouldn't make sense. But I personally prefer TimBits. Nothing wrong with the restaurant, it's just a matter of personal taste. The quality was good, the donuts were warm and the icing was meh. Today, around 4:30 pm, was the first time that we were completely disappointed with the service. At the time I ordered there was no other client, 3 employees, the guy looked in a bad mood, I ordered 50 puffs and 3 shakes, I asked if he could use 2 different boxes because of allergies, and they looked annoyed. They served one box with 20 puffs which were already on the base, even though they had to cook the rest from the scratch, so they got cold. My order was to go but I didn’t get any forks or napkins. I’m sorry for this kind of customer service growing everywhere, we always had a good experience...
