Restaurant Madiva — Restaurant in Terrebonne

The place itself is well-kept and has a modern interior. Good location with plenty of parking. The service wasn't anything special. Just kind of the bare minimum. No complaints, at all. But don't expect "above and beyond". Now for the food. It was fair, at best. I had the Madiva pizza. The toppings (mozzarella, arugula, shrimp) were delicious. But the dough could use improving. The inner half was drenched in oil and the outer half of the bread was dry. I normally enjoy pizza crust, but this one was hard and crunchy. I probably wouldn't have another pizza. Had the churros for dessert. Still a little on the hard and crunchy side, but more enjoyable with the accompanied chocolate dip and whipped cream. The rest of the party had much better dishes, so I'll probably be back to try...

Atmosphere: The place is very nice, I like the concept and the fact that you can have a nice meal and be able to have a conversation at the same time.

Also I found pretty cool that they have Listerine in the restroom 👍🏻

Food & Drinks: We ordered more but I forgot to take a picture 🤭 I’m just gonna talk about what meals I was a bit disappointed: I’m a crème brulé lover and i didn’t like this one, has an alcohol taste and something was off about the taste. I had the bloody and was missing Clamato and the taste of lemon. I wouldn’t order it again.

Service: Was very good, our waitress was very nice and everyone that was working there had a very nice attitude.

The ambiance is nice but the food really isn't great. The last time we went, we ordered the big sharing platter for four people and I'm convinced it was left overs from other plates; only two small pieces of cauliflower for four people, a few slivers of sausage, chicken pieces covered in a sauce, the steak was tough, overcooked and cold. The risotto wasn't risotto, just wet rice that didn't taste like much. The drinks we ordered weren't made properly or in the proper glasses for the drink. Service was also very slow.
