Allô mon Coco Terrebonne — Restaurant in Terrebonne

After hearing so much about this franchise, I was completely caught off guard as to how disappointing the quality of the food was. I expected much more, or at least I expected SOMETHING, but to be honest I would much rather go through the effort of making my own breakfast than ever visiting this restaurant again. This franchise, or at least this particular restaurant, was certainly subject to "shrinkflation" as the quality was quite pathetic. I actually chose the fan-favorites on the menu including but not limited to a generic brunch platter (e.g. your typical eggs, sausage, potatoes, etc), a pancake "platter", and a Milkshake. Honestly the only thing I could appreciate was the potatoes of the breakfast platter but everything else was extremely basic or worse, and definitely not fresh. The pancake "platter" was a single pancake which only filled me because of the surplus of fruits it was topped with, but obviously I would order a pancake for the pancake itself and not overloaded toppings. The price for that pancake platter made absolutely no sense since it was nearly the same thing you would get if you just took the pancake with the breakfast platter. And finally the 8$ milkshake was a total bust, tasted like a diluted mix of milk and basic fruit juice, nowhere near the consistency of a "milkshake".

Overall a big zero satisfaction on the cost-effective scale - I felt like I had been robbed. If it wasn't for the very friendly service, I would have left immediately when I saw the pancake placed in front of me. I went there to have breakfast with my almost 2 years old son on a Friday morning. We gave our order and waited 45 minutes to get our food. My son was hungry and I had to keep him entertained for 45 minutes while we were waiting for the food. There was only 1 cook for 30 people in the time we went (8:30-10:00 am). The servers were nice, but the wait for our food was too long for me to come back here. The ladies in front of us gave their order before us and got theirs 10-15 minutes after we got us. Nous allions toujours à ce restaurant dans les premières années suivant son ouverture. Nous avons diminué nos visites depuis le COVID et la hausse des tarifs. Nous y sommes retournés ce matin donc dimanche le 25 février 2024 vers 7h30. Après une attente de plusieurs minutes dans l’entrée en attente de la serveuse même si le restaurant était pratiquement vide on se fait finalement attribué une table. Attendons encore plusieurs minutes sans café ou liquides à boire. Nous sommes 3 adultes, 1 enfant, nos déjeuners commencent à arriver, mais juste ceux de 2 adultes sans les rôties, et les assiettes sont froides. Quelques minutes plus tard, l’assiette du 3e adulte arrive avec les rôties des 2 autres adultes, incroyable encore froide, le plat et les rôties. Le 4e plat ce fait toujours attendre et c’est celui du plus jeune, il finit par arriver mais les 2 premiers adultes avaient déjà terminé leurs plats, mais au moins celui du plus jeune est chaud. Finalement on demande la facture, il y avait une promotion des enfants mangent gratuitement pendant la relâche, surprise surprise on a 1 repas enfant sur la facture, on fait remarquer à la serveuse la promotion, elle nous affirme que ça ne commence que mardi en vérifiant sur son cellulaire. Nous avons payé sans plus attendre, à notre arrivée nous vérifions et oui, la promotion était commencée et nous n’aurions pas du payer pour l’enfant.
