McDonald's — Restaurant in Thames Centre

Im not one to write reviews but Ive never been so disappointed by a restaurant in my life. Thursday September 25 1030ish pm. Couldnt take truck through drive through cause its too big, dine in open until 11pm, lazy employees had store closed already and wouldnt let me in. Friday September 26 1030ish pm. This was the most unsatisfying food order Ive ever had. I hope someone who cares sees this cause your great employees are ruining the reputation of your store. Wonder why its already a mediocre 3 star average. Ask for a large RB no ice, get medium RB with ice. Give it back and got a large iced tea which didnt notice til at home. Order large fry, get medium and didnt notice til home. Order sweet and sour sauce, none in the bag and also didnt notice til at home. The only thing not messed up was the burger. 3 out 4 of my items were completely messed up and 2 out of 4 being completely non existent(RB and sweet and sour). The amount of money we pay anymore for this food that isnt worth nearly what they sell us it for, and then dont even get half the items ordered and a smaller of another one. Update on 17 February 2025: Tried the place another couple of times since original review posted month ago. Positively and extremely surprised! Whilst gradually improving the order preparation timing, the latest order took the tram less than 2 min to deliver. With the food quality and atmosphere being as expected without any unpleasant surprises, the improvement definately earned the team 5 stars back. Keep the good job and clients happy!

Definately not a fast food place by any means... Ordered at 7:10pm 20 Nuggets, 2 McChickens and a wrap. Ordered 2 apple pies also, but these were simply not available in store, only at the order kiosk... So not counting. Though food was supposedly ready at 7:24pm, nothing was given out until complaining to the shift manager at 7:32pm. And still waited until 7:35pm to receive the wrap and drinks... Noted the guy ahead of me also wasted 20+ min if his life on the "fast food" order... Seriously??? Guys, have you watched "The Founder"??? Where is the fast food here??? Visit the place only if you have spare 30min of your life to waste. Otherwise not...

I hope this review finds the young lady that was doing house keeping at the end of the day today (march 21st) Long story short, I wish I could name her specifically! This young lady deserves praise!! Not only was she doing an amazing job keeping the restaurant clean and tidy she also has a great smile with a beautiful attitude!! What really drove me to make a review was this part... she was in the middle of the restaurant doing something and without no hesitation at all she stops what she is doing and swiftly walks over to the entrance to open the door for an elderly couple that were coming in, then returns back to what she was in the midst of doing. Seeing this was a breath of fresh air honestly... 9/10 times when we see teenagers/young adults we don't see politeness or respect. This young lady had a great attitude and I hope she gets recognized for her positive...
