I visited the Subway located at 3919 34 St NW,#19, Edmonton, AB T6T 1L5 and extrodinarily dissappointed in this location.
Firstly, there were no chips on display anywhere in the store..so if I were to want any I had none to see. Which I thought was astonishingly weird. But more importantly, I ordered a veggie delight salad. I cannot believe the struggle and uncomfortable feeling I had during the process. It was very clear the sandwich maker was making a great effort to put as little on the salad as possible. I asked for more lettuce as the amount she put on was clearly countable; about 10 slivers. I asked for spinach and she put on a small handful..changed her mind and put some back resulting in a total of 3 leaves. I felt the more I asked for the less she wanted to add anything on. It was if there was some sort of power struggle between us as I was trying to get a decent meal..while she was going for getting the same price for half as much food. When it was all said and done the salad was in the container and you could still see the bottom of the container all the way around. I will never go this...
Read moreI am going 1 star because I, for one, am sick and tired of all the lies and deception from borderline false advertising. I got an email from Subway stating a 6 inch cold cut combo for $4.99. Ya right, when a restaurant advertises a combo it means a combination of either soft drink or fries or something. No, they suck people to drive to subway only to find out their assorted cold cut sandwich is now called a cold cut combo, (combination of meats). And get this, their combo now has pepperoni, ham and get this,, bologna. Another example of skimpflation. Bologna, seriously? really? They can stick their deals and their food for that matter, right up where the sun doesn't shine. Greedy corporations make me sick. People need to take a stand against how we are getting ripped off. Well, I for one, because of their bogus email, will NEVER spend my money there. If more people took a stand, then maybe, just maybe, things...
Read moreIf I lay with cash, the cashier should not be loading my change into their plastic glove to hand back to me. Same plastic glove that was kept on to finish making my sandwich. Had I not asked for the glove to be removed, they would have continued to use a charge contaminated glove to make my sandwich.
What about the other customers who paid cash and same thing? That contaminated glove then goes right into all the other food bins. It goes and touches the bread oven handle. It touches the cheese. It touches what ever else is on the floor and that’s where I feel a 1* comes in.
It’s a contaminated environment from 1 employees actions who does not care. It’s a lack of respect for the customer and in turn, lack of respect back, Have your 1* and I might be back down the road to see if...
