Chopstick — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

For anyone looking to get beef chow mein from Chopstick Chopstick in Cumberland, I would advise you not to. I went to pickup the beef chow mein and this is what they gave me. Im not sure why the beef chow mein came with hard consommé noodles and rice? Called to exchange the order and the lady named “May” told me “ next time order the right thing” & later admitted that they don’t have stir fry noodles there. She wouldn’t do anything about it and went back to saying it was my own personal mistake. Trying to convince me that beef chow mein comes like that and to try to enjoy it. She also said if I wanted soft noodles (as I wanted stir fry noodles which it traditionally comes with beef chow mein) I should have gotten the beef lo mein (which is also wrong information as this comes with larger thick egg noodles). Bought 138 dollars worth of food for 5 people. Will not be back. Their beef with veggies was soggy chewy beef with a pile of bok choy coated in a gooey cornstarch slop. The chicken balls were generic chicken balls, as were the fried rice and red sauce.

How this place is the top rated Chinese food place for Thunder Bay according to Google is beyond me.

The only good thing was the eggroll.

I'm never going to pay 15 dollars or more for chicken balls, fried rice and nasty beef ever again (aka #7)

I would have said something but the waitress was so busy and I just wanted to get the hell out of there.

This was the absolute worest Chinese food my friends and I ever had. We showed up..had to seat ourselves and then wait for 10 minutes to be asked if we even wanted something to drink....then ordered and waited another half an hour for our atrocious food...the rice was rock hard...the chicken balls didn't have chicken in all of them and the beef with mixed greens was the most disgusting thing I've ever eaten. Will never eat there again and will never recommend this place to anyone. This place shows 2 stars...it should be...
