Osmow's Shawarma — Restaurant in Thunder Bay

So disappointed happened last sunday just didn't get the time to write a review was hopping to just let it go but i just cant. Got a chicken saj wrap takeout to go on my way to the sleeping giant beach out of town hadn't had breakfast as was getting kiddos fed and stuff ready to go. Reached there super hungry started eating the wrap half way through the bread had MOLD on it i couldn't belive my eyes. I was soo angry i just put it in the bag and that ruined the whole day for me. On our way back to town i called osmos and the lady just went going around oh ok you ordered for 2.30pm ( as it was around 7.30pm by then). When i mentioned the mold she straight to my face as if i was lying, said that's impossible fortunately i had brought it with me. I took it to the store they took 30min and a very rude staff, laughing at me, to understand the situation and made a new wrap my kids crying in the car i just got out without waiting for the fries. The hygiene of the store put me in great stress there were frozen fries all over the floor and they kept walking all over it and then a guy took out the container which container humus oh boy i wouldn't ever hlget humus from here the lid had some blach juices on it and was so dirty most probably mold too and the container was almost empty but the other lady took it inside filled it up and broung it back even more dirty i am not sure if the owner is aware of this situation but it was just very painful to watch given the minimum options fot halal food anyways this...

I recently visited Osmos, and I must say it was an incredible experience from start to finish. I decided to try their Philly Wrap, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The wrap was perfectly packed with flavorful ingredients, from the juicy, tender steak to the deliciously melted cheese, all wrapped in a warm, soft tortilla that held everything together. The balance of spices was spot on, with just the right amount of heat and seasoning that enhanced the flavor without overwhelming it. Every bite was a delight, and I can honestly say it was one of the best wraps I’ve had in the city.

What truly set this visit apart, however, was the customer service. The staff at Osmos were exceptional – friendly, welcoming, and attentive. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile, and the team made sure I had everything I needed throughout my meal. Even though it was a busy time, they made sure I didn’t feel rushed and took the time to ensure my experience was top-notch. It’s not often that you find a place that combines great food with such attentive service, but Osmos truly does.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was also a big plus – clean, modern, and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy your meal. I frequent this location as it was once one of my favourite places to stop in and grab a quick dinner. Unfortunately, the last two times have been a dismissal display of customer service. They forgot my mango juice the first time and the second time they loaded my OZbox with pita chips when it specifically stated not too. I have an allergen I accept the risks when going out to eat, I order online to avoid confusion and pre read the allergen charts before I order from restaurants. They did not answer the phone either time when I called to remedy these issues. I stated I wanted a refund because I was no longer hungry after having to drive all the way back and had lost faith they could provide me with a safe dinning option. They stated they could not refund me cause I ordered on the app. For all the reasons and the way they were handled I’ve decided to write this with one star.
