There are many locations in Thunder Bay. Of course we enjoy the coffee and baked goods, especially the Maple Pecan Danish! In the past few years however, presentation of baked goods has changed, meaning they once would wrap each item with a piece of paper, protecting icings and such, from sticking to the paper bag. Also, it gave the customer piece of mind, knowing that no contaminated hands touched your donut. These days, everything is thrown directly into a bag with no "buffer" zone! It's too bad, but I must say, it doesn't stop me from buying a sticky danish! Our focus is wheelchair accessibility, so on that note, our experience to date, is that because of the double doors and the angle of them, so far at all locations, it is pretty much impossible for someone like myself to get inside without help. Which deters me from ever going there alone. The curbs are ramped, so someone who uses a wheelchair is able to access the building. The mostly fixed seats at tables also makes sitting at a table impossible, if the few loose chair type tables are taken. We use drive through only and that seems...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām a regular customer at this Tim Hortons location, but the evening and night shift service continues to disappoint. On July 14, I once again had a frustrating experience. I ordered a steeped tea, and as usual during these hours, it was served cold instead of hot.
I also ordered a quencher with less ice, but the cup was still half filled with ice, completely ignoring my request. When I went back to politely address the issue and asked to speak with a supervisor, I was told that both the person who made and served the drink were supervisors. That honestly made it worseābecause if the supervisors canāt ensure basic service quality, what can I expect from the rest of the team?
This is not a one-time issueāit's been happening frequently during the evening and night shifts. Itās extremely disappointing as a loyal customer to keep facing these problems. I really hope Tim Hortons management takes this seriously and makes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreEvery Tim Hortons in Canada that I have been visiting over 30 years is on a gradual and consistent decline with the food, service and atmosphere. The restaurants and tables are rarely clean anymore and service is less than satisfactory and average. Depending on the time and day of your visit there may be an extensive line up or you may be served with some respect and gratitude for your contribution to the business. Food menu has expanded in recent years to a more variable and healthy option. Desserts are being made smaller and prices slowly rise following suit with our Canadian economy. I enjoy meeting friends at Tim Hortons for a chat and I'm now at the point of serious consideration of finding more accommodating coffee shops. I give Tim Hortons less than one...
