I have had endless bad experiences with this location, over the course of about 4-5 months. I don't normally complain about things, but after the service I got tonight I'm sick of it all.
Issue #1: Employees have ALWAYS walked away after confirming my order, every time I've gone in. They never stick around to make sure my payment goes through, nor ever offer me a receipt.
Issue #2: One time when I was getting food with my boyfriend (about a couple months ago?), this inattentiveness led to an issue. I was apparently only charged $0.12 for my order as the cashier had entered it wrong. Since they always walk away before I pay, they didn't notice this mistake till I was literally about to walk out with my food. They freaked out and had to pull me around to the screen to pay again before I could leave. It was incredibly awkward, and I felt like I was in trouble for their mistake. (I got some looks from other customers too; I think some of them thought I actually had done something wrong.) Really wasted me and my boyfriend's time.
Issue #3: Last night, I stopped into Wendy's on the way back from a shopping trip. I had some cold items I needed to hurry with, but I was just getting a couple double stack burgers and a couple cheesy burgers, and was going to dine in really fast before heading back home. The double stackers ended up on my tray immediately, but I ended up waiting a good 20-25 minutes before the two cheesy cheddar burgers - one of the simplest items on the burger menu - were FINALLY added to my tray so I could take it. From what I observed in the kitchen, it seems the person making the orders simply missed what was on the screen for my order, and had to eventually be told by another employee that he needed to finish my order. (Even after that, the employee seemed to mosey on getting my last items together.) The cherry on top? The double stackers were basically cold from sitting on a tray for so long, and the cheesy cheddar burgers were basically just lukewarm themselves. It was a very 'meh' meal, and I had to rush home to get my cold items in the freezer after how long that took.
My issue from last night (#3) isn't as bad as Issue #2, but I was already tempted to complain when the second issue happened. Last night's incident was sort of the straw that broke the camel's back for me, so here I am.
I really have no idea what is up with this restaurant branch, but I'm really sick of how sloppy they are about everything. I still feel awkward to this day from Issue #2, too. (I thought that issue happening might at least have made them more attentive in the future, but...
Read moreI came to this establishment today to see about getting one of their deals to my disappointment. The service was horrible. The food could have not been swimming in condiments The staff could have done a better job at coordinating. As a team and not sat there, arguing and bickering and screwing up everyone's order. I don't know where we're getting these workers nowadays. But write up should be handed out to either get them in line. Because this is a place of business, not a drama show gig. I run an establishment, and I take the time to pull my staff aside to talk about our differences. Give each other respect and not act. Ignorant in front of customers in my own opinion. These people need to be straightened out or fired. I have never seen such poor behavior.
And to add to a hygienic level in the workplace, I don't understand why the women don't have their hair in hair nets and the men are not wearing beard. Nets, this is a food establishment. Nothing more, nothing less. I hope someone big can come down and see the disappointment. They're allowing people to provide within their establishment.
And one more thing I'd like to add, why would you hand someone the wrong order? See that they've looked into the order bag and not turn around. And make the person it was actually for a new order.
As far as I understand in the food industry. If food goes to the wrong customer and they touch it, beg or not. Inside or not, that is not safe to give to the original person who requested it. Remake, restart, do...
Read moreThis location has gone way downhill, and continues to slide. 9 times out of 10 we're given the wrong dressing for the CAESAR salad (it says CAESAR on both the lable on the salad and the dressing package), that is if they even put it in the bag at all. They forget to put items in the bag consistently. We're often charged for items that we didn't even order (nor do they give the mystery items to us). Make sure to ask for your receipt (sometimes they pretend that it didn't print, and they can't give it to you, but if you tell them that you're not going anywhere, and block the drive through, they can magically pull your receipt out of thin air in the blink of an eye.) If you ask to speak to the manager, said person becomes the manager instantly, they sure seem to have a lot of managers at this location, I don't think it's good practice to promote EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE to manager (though I doubt that's truly the case, I think these employees just like to play make believe to avoid getting in trouble.) When you do actually get what you've ordered, the food is quite tasty, and if they don't add mystery items to your order it's relatively cheap compared to many fast...
