Subway — Restaurant in Tillsonburg

I travelled all the way from Brampton to Tillsonburg for some personal work , after finishing our work we planned to eat something and stopped at this Subway it was exact 4:30 , I saw the time schedule outside on the door which says that they close at 5pm, door was open and we entered and there was a old lady who was placing her order and there was one guy who was taking her order , he looked at us and suddenly another guy from inside came in and said " sir we are close now ,to that "I addressed that its written outside that you close at 5pm" now he replied that 5 pm is for staff and for customers its 4:30 " me and my brother were really upset with this behaviour , they just did not wanted to take our food order , I even asked him if we can do a take out and eat in our car ,which they denied. it was a very slow day as it was quite on roads as well , I m leaving this review so that the owner should understand that he might be losing a lot of business like this , good luck...

Ordered online last night and went in 15 minutes after ordering they said they didn’t receive our order yet and to go check the other subway on simcoe street so we went there and they didn’t receive our order yet even though I had a confirmation email the guy on simcoe street said I would get a refund within 48 hours, got a call almost an hour later from broadway subway saying that our order is made and has been waiting for us and I told them we don’t want it anymore and want a refund as we went to both subways and none of them had our orders. I was told I’d be contacted by the manager the next day. Got a call from the manager, said he cannot refund me and kept bugging for us to come get our subs re-made I said no I want a refund I don’t want a sub anymore. Manager was super rude, he told me it was all our fault that they didn’t get the order and said they have tv footage of us?? Which makes no sense. They were absolutely rude and...

Visited the other day with a friend, sub was good but I observed the sandwich artist handle multiple meats then the current customers card for assistance with gloved hands and operate the POS system and touch multiple high touch areas then proceeded to start my sub with the same hands, I politely asked the sandwich artist to change his gloves and he got upset with me and tried to argue against changing his gloves and seemed upset at the request, after over a minute of discussing the situation he rudely said "would you like me to wash my hands to" even my friend with me thought it was incredibly rude, but he did change his gloves. Obviously safe food handling has not been established at this location and I will be in contact with the local health safety branch for investigation. This is how...
