Cedar Meadows Dining Room — Restaurant in Timmins

We had a wonderful date night at CM Steakhouse last night! We were seated in a booth that was super cozy and private. Everything we ate and drank was flavourful, refined, beautifully presented, and delicious. Highly recommend the wagyu dumplings, truffle saccehetti, blackened chicken, beef tenderloin, maple creme brulee, and the elderflower grapefruit gin cocktail. We loved every bite! Their menu is fun and inspired, and feels like the people cooking it enjoy their job. Our server, Chandee, was phenomenal. When we entered the restaurant, she turned around to greet us with the most genuinely happy and warm welcome. She was beaming and vibrant for the entirety of the service, in the most genuine way. You could see and feel that she loves her job. She was also a fantastic server - very attentive, on the ball, and had great recommendations. Chandee was an absolute gem and CM Steakhouse is lucky to have her. This was such a good vibes place from start to finish, and it is one of few places where you can feel it in the food, service, and atmosphere. Exceptional...

While staying at Cedar Meadows we enjoyed a dinner here. I wish we could remember our servers name because she was phenomenal! Friendly, energetic, and genuine! Taller women, she had tattoos, she deserves a raise! Her customer service was second to none! The food was amazing (especially dessert) great drinks from the bar, it was such a wonderful experience! Little pricey but it matched the experience, very luxurious. We had breakfast one of our days there too , same great food and service. My husband went down one night to bring me up a dessert, they were very accommodating. We also enjoyed lunch at the spa which was food from this restaurant. Ate here a few times before, years ago, and don't recall ever being disappointed.

The ribs tasted like precooked, packaged frozen ribs you can buy at the grocery store for $9.99. And I've had better frozen ribs at home.

The elk burger was quite good, but the stuffed baked potato was dry very dry and overcooked. The quesadilla was also good, but they had no salsa. Other items on the menu were not available.

Will likely return but will...
