TacoTime — Restaurant in Timmins

One of the most important factors in any successful restaurant, from take out and fast food to quality fine dining is consistency. Consistency is missing from this business.

I have ordered from here on 3 separate occasions and all 3 times the food was, in a word, below average. On all 3 times, the same order was made differently as well. On tuesdays I would get the 3 tacos for 6$ and each time the tacos were made with either different ingredients, were packed incredibly poorly with all the meat on all 3 tacos on one side of the shell with nothing but veg in the middle, or missing ingredients all together (one of them had 1/4 of the beef of the others).

Orders of different meals have had varying success. Burritos have come cold, quesadillas were not made properly and many other problems with their food. At other times, the food is made perfectly and is actually satisfying to eat and more importantly, delicious.

It all comes back to the key factor: consistency. This business has none and the unfortunate side effect is food made incorrectly in differing ways each time you go there. As such, I can't recommend anyone go here and have given this take out food a 1*. Hopefully the owners and management can sort out...

I had a great experience at TacoTime! The food was fresh, flavorful, and served hot. I ordered the Super Beef Burrito and Crisp Tacos — both were delicious and generously portioned. You can really taste the difference with their seasoned ground beef and house-made sauces.

The service was quick and friendly. The staff were polite and made sure my order was correct, which I really appreciated. The restaurant was clean and well-kept, and the atmosphere was relaxed — perfect for a casual bite.

I also liked that the menu had a good variety of options, including vegetarian choices and combos at a reasonable price. If you’re craving tasty Tex-Mex-style fast food that doesn’t feel overly processed, TacoTime is a solid choice. Definitely...

For my first experience ever at this taco chain it was horrible. The service from the staff was extremely rushed and just wanted to move on with the next order. My food was just slammed into the bag destroying my taco. I had taken one bite and was so dissatisfied with it I threw it out.
