Bắp Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Toronto

Waited 25 mins for 3 drinks. Vietnamese coffee latte, coconut mango drip, and halo halo. After 15 mins of waiting, my partner and I got up from the seating to ask what was the progress on the halo halo. The nice lady behind the counter said she didnt start on it yet. I understand she is only one person and there were actually a few people waiting already but what i couldn't really wrap my head around was she served a pair of customers that ordered AFTER us before she started on the halo halo. I have worked in kitchens before and if certain items can be made fast or at the same time as other orders most definitely do that to manage orders more efficiently, but this was more of a sense of priority issue due to not even beginning on the halo halo and finishing a brand new order. Soon after another barista walked in to help out and both were rushing to fill our orders and the next set of orders. They apologized for the slow service and we were off. Nothing personal against this shop, im just expressing my disatisfaction with the long wait time. My assumption is that the barista was fairly inexperienced with the halo halo and required assistance to complete the order, in any case it would be nice to be told roughly how long to wait so there won't be...

This place is a hidden gem! I love everything about the place. The vibe and ambience is aesthetically pleasing, beautiful, cozy. This is definitely the most beautifully decorated bubble tea shop I’ve ever seen. They did an amazing job designing the space. Everything just complements each other - the furniture, the layout, and decor.

It’s a nice place to hang out with friends, go on a date, or even sit down and work. The lady working was so lovely and greeted me with a smile. They have a variety of drinks and they all look so good I hope to try every single one of them! The only con I have is that it’s hard to find parking, which is not entirely on the business.

If you haven’t gone here and tried any of their drinks, I HIGHLY recommend it, you won’t be disappointed. We love family...

Seen this place when it first opened but never found the time to come in, but I'm glad I did. I ordered the hazelnut tea, halo halo and a matcha spongecake. I enjoyed the hazelnut tea as it had a deep hazelnut flavor while most other places I've been to seem to use either not enough or more artificial tasting hazelnut. In addition the spongecake is an amazing accompaniment to any beverage you have.

What I enjoyed most of all was the staff and their friendliness. I'm under the impression that Bắp is family run as the staff were amazing. They all seemed to truly care about their store and serving good food and drink.
