A comida estava deliciosa! This restaurant was spectacular. Amazing food and great service.
Pão de queijo was fresh and homemade and it paired really well with their mandioca frita which is their cassava fries. If you have never had cassava fries, I would closely relate them to home fries from your typical morning breakfast place but fried haha!
Their linguiça com cebola (translates to sausage with onions, shoutout to duolingo for helping me with my Portuguese) and this was great! So simple yet so flavourful! Up next was their baião de dois which was a rice dish that had beans, bacon, dry meat, sausage, sweet chili pepper and cheese. Another amazing dish that I would definitely get again.
BUT NOWWW for the star of the night was my picanha gralhada. Grilled steak was COOKED TO PERFECTION with a little bit of fat. So juicy and mouthwatering and can we talk about how they gave me 2 huge pieces!! I was advised to dip my steak into the farofa (toasted cassava) and I loved it even more believe it or not. I also had to get a side of mandioca frita!
Desserts at this place…..SPECTACULAR! Passion fruit mousse was a hit but their Brazilian pudim was just amazing, I actually wanted to lick the plate but couldn’t because I know I would get judged. I would definitely recommend that if you ever come to this restaurant, please save room for dessert because you will not be disappointed!!
This amazing restaurant also has a cute Brazilian shop next to it where I got some cool snacks.
Overall if I had a list of restaurants to check out that is affordable and delicious, I would definitely have this place in my top 10!! Also I usually dislike pop drinks but toss me a Guaraná and I would leave no trace...
Read more"Stepping into this Brazilian restaurant, you're immediately greeted by an atmosphere that's as inviting as it is pristine. The place is spic-and-span, with four or five big-screen TVs adding to the ambiance by featuring captivating Brazilian solo performers on stage – a nice touch that adds to the authentic vibe.
The food here? Simply divine. The steaks are a revelation, easily the best I've savored in recent memory, accompanied by fries and garlic-flavored rice that are a cut above the rest. Who knew rice could leave such an impression? And then there was this Brazilian soda pop made from Guarana fruit – exotic, refreshing, and oh so yummy.
Dessert was the crown jewel – a flan cake that took my taste buds on a journey. Imagine the richness of crème brûlée but elevated to a whole new level, thicker, richer, and lavishly drizzled with an incredible caramel sauce. Without a doubt, it's a dessert I won't soon forget.
But what truly sets this place apart, especially for Toronto, is the exceptionally friendly and helpful service. It was only our second time ever at a Brazilian restaurant, and they made us feel right at home. The warmth extends to the little Brazilian store next door, where the charm and assortment of Brazilian goodies, from snacks to Havaianas slippers at reasonable prices, beckon for a browse.
Can't wait to go back – this restaurant has etched a special place in my heart and stomach. If you find yourself craving for an authentic Brazilian dining experience with a side of superb service, look...
Read moreMy brazilian friend took us to this restaurant, I ordered Caipirinha first just to try it out since this is the only cocktail on the menu, this drink far exceeded my expectation with its complexity and layer in its flavour profile. This drink kinda tasted like a mix between mojito and margarita and I was pleasantly surprised. The staff are so nice here and they even showed me the alcohol that makes up this drink. As someone who loves to mix and learn, I definitely learned a lot here and had a great time learning about brazilian food and drink. The picanha grelhada I ordered came in a big portion with 2 good size steak with rice and 3 sides, I couldn't even finish and had to take some home. I didn't expect to get this much food for only 27 bucks so this is definitely a place with good value. Overall, I definitely had a good time here tonight and felt so welcomed by the staff for they are kind enough to explain the menu and help us decide. Even my brazilian friend said the food is 100% authentic to what he has back in his hometown which got me amazed to hear that. I guess choosing Brazilian's Choice is definitely a good choice from a Brazilian 😂 I'll definitely will be back to try their other iconic food on the menu. Now I'm truly...
