Pizza Nova — Restaurant in Toronto

Dear Pizza Nova, We tasted the difference and it tasted like sadness.

This past Saturday October 29th, 2023 we received by far the most disappointing and unappetizing pizza ever.

We order from your 280 Viewmount Ave location in Toronto frequently and on Oct. 29th we ordered a Hawaiian and Portibellisimo, size medium, regular crust, for delivery. Place at 4:33pm. When we recieved our pizza it was 5:30 and our pies were cold. The receipt lists the time as 5:09 pm, and the location is a 4 minute drive away from the delivery destination. Not only were our pizzas cold, they were also over cooked and very very thin. If I had ordered thin-crust this may not have been an issue, but alas, that was not the case.

We've ordered from Pizza Nova for years and have noticed the quality has been steadily going downhill. The only pizza worth ordering is the Deluxe, and the last one we had was still on the thin and over-cooked side. This last order being not up to standards, including the Pizza Nova Puro Promise: I am therefore requesting a refund of my order.

Horrible service. I called for my order. I ordered ahead. I expected it to be ready in about 30 minutes at the restaurant. They didn't have it ready for me. I kept saying that my pizza was already ordered, but they misunderstood me. I had to wait in the restaurant for 30 more minutes while they made me my pizza, which I should have picked up. I entered the restaurant, no pizza was ready for me. It was just one simple phone call. It should have been ready to pickup at the restaurant. Instead, they forgot about me. They treated me like chopped liver. They kept treating me like dirt. Whatever happened to treat people the way you want to be treated? Do I look invisible to you? I am disgusted. I am appalled. I am flabbergasted. Do not go here! Manager, you need to give your employees some training! This is the last time I am ordering from this location! I have been picking up my vegan pizza from this location for many years. About 50% of the time I pre-order by phone. And whether ordering in person or by phone, all 4 of the pizza makers I've gotten to know have consistently made my order to delicious perfection. The whole staff are very friendly and efficient. And the telephone people are always courteous and make sure to add my special requests. The pizza sauce has always been "to die for." As a vegan. I appreciate the toppings are always fresh and I love the way the vegetables are sliced instead of diced because they cook so much better.
