Terrible! We’ve been ordering from Jacks for years it was the best! The last three times we’ve ordered it’s been awful,we thought maybe the cook had an off day or maybe they have a new cook.It just kept getting worse,so we ordered from the Buffet in Innisfail and it was great! We decided to give Jacks one more time tonight and it’s disgusting! The vegetables are not fresh,the mushrooms are nasty for $20.00 you get 4 pieces of broccoli,4 pieces of culiflower,3 pieces of pork,4 pieces of a carrots that are hard and disgusting,5 baby corns,5 little pieces of chicken and noodles that are stale.absolutely no white sauce at all, its dry and gross! We had heard that Jack's was pretty good with their Chinese food so expecting guests forca laye lunch we thought we would give it a go. We ordered the dinner for 3 with some extra dishes for take out. Staff were very friendly. Sadly the food was really not great. It was actually some of the worst Chinese food we have ever had. Everything had a bitter burnt aftertaste as if had been cooked in an over used wok or fry pan. It was very disappointing considering the bill was over $100 and most was left on peoples plates then into the bin. We stopped at this Chinese restaurant on our way home from a camping trip, and wow what a surprise! The food was absolutely amazing. Every dish tasted fresh and homemade, full of flavor and heart.
