Yikes! They are supposed to be open until 8pm, but usually have dining room chairs up on the tables by 6:00pm. The service and food practices in the kitchen are terrible. Went in this evening to order two chicken wraps and donuts for my kids. As the lady was making the chicken wraps she handed a piece of chicken to another employee who proceeded to walk around the kitchen eating the chicken. Meanwhile the girl that took our order knocks a donut onto the floor (for some reason they have all the donuts on one tray on the counter), picks it up and places it back on the tray with all the other donuts to be serviced. This is done in full view of customers waiting for their orders. She then grabs herself a donut and begins eating it as she walks out of the restuarant. I told the other employee that the donut needs to be thrown out as it fell on the floor and she casually laughs and says ‘I’ll get to it later’. Don’t think I’ll be purchasing food...
Read moreTonight, for the fourth time my wife and I went in to the Tim Hortons in Carstairs in the evening and were greatly disappointed by the selection of baked goods. We have been there at 8:30,8:00 twice and tonight at 6:30. Every time we've gone in, in the evening there has been almost nothing to choose from. The picture was from 6:30 (a full 3 ½ hours before closing time) this evening. There was less than a display cases worth of product and what variety there was had been crammed in to a couple trays with no labeling. Much to say, we ordered coffee and left, for the fourth time without ordering food. While I understand that waste is a major concern for a restaurant, at 6:30 in the evening there should be at least some options better than what this location is offering. I want to support local but if this is the best that they offer I’m struggling to understand how I can be...
Read moreI won the Hockey Challenge and wanted to get my daughter a coffee. I'm in Ontario, she's in Alberta (time difference of 2 hours) I tried to order it as she was 5 minutes away from the store, but alas no. The time was 19:37 Ontario 17:37 Alberta. The store closes at 8pm according to their website. So I try to make the order and got the message "Store is not accepting digital orders at this time" press continue - the another pop up of "Unable to Place Order - This store is closing soon and is no longer accepting mobile orders" Wow! They aren't accepting mobile orders with over 2 hours to go. I said go in and ask them, but she had an appointment to get to and although she had time to run in and grab a coffee she didn't have time to stand and chat and try and find out what was going on. Jeez, sometimes it's real hard to get a...
