McDonald's — Restaurant in Town of Cochrane

What can I say about this McDondalds? Let me tell you how awesome they are with what they do and don't do and have!

Starting off, what do they have:

-The slowest drivethru in all of Cochrane and potentially Alberta! They nail it! -The CONSTANT ability to make mistakes with your order with the wrong meal or order -McDondals Food which I think is the only good part of this place...granted I have had some stuff come semi warm and potentially repackaged -Semi-clean dining area at best

What don't they have:

-Anyone working the counters in order to help you! -Any happniess or motivation with the staff that are there. I don't know if the staff are paid enough or motivated by the ownership/managers of this location.

At one point this place was a decent one to stop at but has steeply dropped off the mark over the last year or so.

All I can say outside of this review is save yourself waiting by either driving/walking to the Tim Hortons next door or go into Cochrane for Popeyes, Wendy's, A&W, DQ, THE OTHER MCDONALD'S or any of the other places in town and just skip this one, totally not worth your time or money.

*Small edit - noticing how bad your 1 and 2 star reviews are and how many they have and the lack of any response to them I highly doubt that this location has the drive, motivation, intent or the interest to try to improve on how bad...

EXCELLENT SERVICE

Flor, the “Swing Manager,” and Rachael, the “Guest Experience Leader,” provided outstanding service. The breakfast was served promptly and was warm and delicious. The McPops were also a tasty addition to the cup of coffee I ordered, which was only $1 for a small size. Free coffee refills are also available for customers dining inside the restaurant.

ORDERING OPTIONS

Self-order touch screens are available for convenience, but the counter service is still an option for those who prefer not to use the screens before eating, for sanitary reasons.

CLEANLINESS & MAINTENANCE

The bathrooms are clean and well-maintained. Rachael worked hard to keep tables wiped down and the dining area clutter-free. She works hard with a friendly and positive attitude.

NEWLY RENOVATED SPACE

This location has been recently renovated. There are individual seating areas with outlets under the tables for charging devices or working on laptops. A large group table with barstools is also available, which is popular among the younger visitors to this location.

SUMMARY

This is a clean and well-kept McDonald’s with excellent customer service. The drive-thru operates 24 hours, while the indoor dining area is open from 5 AM to midnight.

Literally the worst service I have ever experienced. I worked at McDonald’s for 2 years and am usually super understanding but there’s no explanation I can give to excuse this low bar service.

1. the entire ordeal took about 25 minutes
2. I paid with cash and did not receive my change
3. they forgot the fries
4. when we went back around and got the fries they were old. (Again I used to work at dons and If I served those fries at my store I’d get yelled at by management)
5. the root beers tasted like it was watered down and def needed to be changed
6. it was a manager who served us in DT so that’s even more embarrassing.

Also I checked to see if he was alone and maybe that would explain everything (since it was late at night) but there was at least 2 other people there

This was at 11:48pm.

The final straw was literally the root beer was so undrinkable that I had nothing to wash down those nasty fries with. Went to the downtown McDonald’s to get new root beers, whatever that dons is doing this one should take...
