The Beandock Coffee & Collectibles — Restaurant in Town of Shelburne

I'll start off by saying, if you haven't had their Skor Bar, you need to try it! In my opinion it is the best dessert in town. Absolutely wonderful.

I just recently learned the Beandock has another dining area besides the first little room you walk in to. What I ordered wasn't my favourite (however it was just me not liking the food, not the food itself), and the lady serving was quite interesting. When we walked in, it had almost seemed like us coming in ruined her entire day. I asked for a rough estimate of a certain dish (as I had never been there to eat before), and she left the table without saying anything and returned with a bowl. She then slammed the bowl onto the table beside us to take our orders. The slam made us all jump. She was very short with us. Around halfway through eating she became very friendly..so I'm not sure what went on but it was definitely interesting, to say the least.

For the desserts, I would definitely recommend. Their location is absolutely wonderful (being especially convenient for tourists), and their swinging chair outdoor and view of the harbour is great! Not entirely sure how I feel about the other dining area, but from the other reviews, it must...
