Scotia Lunch — Restaurant in Town of Shelburne

So my friends and I came from Ohio and traveled this gorgeous coastline for almost two weeks in August 2025. My mission was to taste test every deep fried haddock fish and chips I could find, a limit of once a day, though! We ate at food trucks as well as fancypants restaurants. The deep fried haddock at this unassuming lunch stop was hands down THE BEST of all. Don't be fooled by the classroom chairs. The diner-style food was prepared fresh, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of options, and the fish in the platters is fresh!

We have been going to this place for over 40 years. We have moved away and lived throughout Canada for most of our lives, but whenever we come home to Lockeport for a visit we always order the pizza with the works.
