If I could give this place zero stars I would. This place has a decent atmosphere so my best friends and myself decided to come here for brunch after my birthday party the next morning. The server we had tried to come off laid back but then tried to joke that my friends and myself were lame because we didn’t want baileys with our coffee which is very offensive especially since you don’t know why we are refusing to drive alcohol at 12pm. My friend ordered a soup and his girlfriend ordered the yogurt granola to start. we waited 45 minutes and there was maybe 3 other tables in the whole place . the soup came out totally different than what he was told the soup of the day was, plus it was cold and the toast was soggy, the granola did not come out together but right before the meals came. After another 15 mins our server came over and asked us to clear up (before we even got our food) as she had another job to get to so we tipped her expecting the food to be at least decent. For our meals 3/5 of us ordered the eggs Benedict, when it finally came out it barely had any hollandaise so we all asked for an extra side of sauce Once we smothered our meal we realized that it distinctly tasted like movie theatre butter.. like the free kind that comes out of the pump dispenser at the straw stand.. the friend with the soup got the chicken wrap which MAYBE had 3 total small bite size pieces of burnt chicken in the whole wrap. When none of us could stomach eating anything on the table we asked for a manager and then it took another 15-20 minutes for the CHEF to come out to ask us why we hated the food. Which we all explained and he started laughing in our faces like we were idiots. At the point my friend got so frustrated and asked for a full refund as this was completely unacceptable the way he was treating us, not to mention when a table complains since when do you send out the chef instead of the manager? After he left the girl manager actually came out and was very nice and gave us our money back and we left. This was probably the worst experience I have ever had going for brunch and will never be back here. Save your time...

First impression on walking in was "wow this place is busy" I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to get a table but to my surprise I was greeted immediately by the hostess who said she had a table ready !!!
Walking through the building listening to the friendly banter of the patrons and plenty of laughs from various tables really gave me the feeling of a hometown type spot.
As I got seated I was promptly introduced to my server (Melissa) who was all smiles and even though I could tell she was slammed busy she was still bubbly and had a heap of pep in her step.
I ordered the Moroccan chicken salad with a starter bowl of the daily soup ( steak & mushroom 🍄)
Firstly the soup!!! My word it was divine. Coming from a culinary background in my younger years I like to think I've got a pretty robust palette and it was firing on all cylinders.
The salad followed closed behind and visually it had my stomach begging to eat it.
It did not disappoint. Moroccan seasoning can be very finicky and easily over bearing but it was paired along with a beautiful house dressing on a bed of spring mix and seasonal veg that it was PERFECTLY balanced.
During the course of my meal I got to watch what I know now to be the only server in the entire restaurant engage with patrons and even though she was tending to not just a full house but also helping the hostess with telephone orders she not once showed any signs of not being a complete professional and taking care of customers I'm every way possible all with a smile and a touch of industry banter!
Well done Melissa and all the BOH staff and hostess.
