EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! AGAIN…..

A friend wanted to get takeout here last night so I thought give them another chance. Bad choice. Ordered the beef brisket dinner only to find au jus to them means tomato sauce (look up a recipe). The “marinara” sauce on the beef, garlic potatoes and Yorkshire pudding is as disgusting as it sounds. See review from two years ago below.

My cousin took me for my birthday dinner. I requested 52 North and phoned on Tuesday to make a reservation for the patio then called again this morning to verify our reservation on the patio, was told “everything was arranged”. Arrived on time and was told the patio was full and that we could have a seat in the restaurant. I explained we had reservations on the patio and we’re told “sorry it’s full” We should have left then. The next two couples in were taken out to the patio....😮We were told the special was ribs so we ordered the double rack to share. Spent most of our time swatting flies as the entire front of the restaurant was wide open. Our ribs arrived and only then did they tell us they only had a half rack left. I’m sure they could’ve told us previous to that and we could have ordered something else. Have had the ribs there before and these were nothing like them. We each had three ribs and they looked and tasted exactly like the $5.99 frozen ribs from Giant Tiger. Yuck. Waited almost 20 minutes after finishing our meal for our bill ,my first time out since Covid and they ruined...

Thanks for ruining Fathers Day Dinner. We had a reservation and arrived on time with my 84 Year Old Father in Law and his 93 Year old brother. We were seated and the waitress immediately took our drink and food order. They had run out of diet drinks (Sharpe's is across the street...). Then we never saw the waitress for 30 minutes. Went to the bar to get another round. Finally 40 minutes after we ordered, she came back to say they had no Onion Rings (we ordered the appetizer Mountain of Rings). So we ordered the Taco Salad, which she brought immediately. Another 25 minutes passed with no waitress, no appetizers, no drinks so we got up and left. The bartender just said that the kitchen was busy and that they were just about to process our order, 80 minutes after they took it! And she charged us for the drinks and salad. Horrible attitude and service, can't say what the food would have been but I will never come back here again. I also work at a local refreshment store and am asked about good places to eat, this will not be...

Well where to start was seated, waited 15 to 20 mins no one came to ask for drinks or give us water. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks. We felt really bad for the 1 server that was running the whole restaurant and patio by herself. Maybe the managment should have stepped up, and gotten more staff come in or step up them selves. The table beside waited close to 40 mins for there food maybe there was only one person working the kitchen too. As we watched the server struggle, they just kept on seating more and more tables never giving her a chance to catch up. Poor management very very poor management. I was recommend this place as was told it was very good. When we finally got our drinks Pepsi was flat lemonade was warm. When we finally received our food our ceaser salad was as warm as our fries. Asked for no tomatoes on my club sandwich they only got half right somehow go figure. Food was average nothing more then 3 stars. Management don't leave 1 server to run your entire restaurant. Wish we had a...

Have been to 52 North in Campbellford twice for dinner and have had unforgettable food. The first time was in October 2020 for our honeymoon we decided to try them for our one meal in town. Couldn’t have made a better decision. The fried chicken sandwich and poutine were perfect, and as you can tell by the smile on my wife’s face she was impressed with her meal as well. This time around got to try the burger special and ate a lot of my wife’s chicken and waffle dinner. Wow. I have more to say this time around because it’s fresh in my mind but the burger was HUGE and delicious. I was expecting a bit of corn beef on it but after the first bite realized that could’ve been a sandwich in itself! The chicken and waffles was the perfect medley of sweet maple syrup on the waffle, crunch and spice in the chicken with Siracha and savoury topped with the bacon. Also loved the Ontario drink selection, went with the Muskoka Pale Ale. We will 100% be back here again whenever we visit Campbellford.

Was pretty excited to try this restaurant we had a table of nine. I’m guessing they have a micro kitchen. I wish that we halve been aware of the fact that all Our food was unable to come out at one time. Our table was unable to eat together and half finished eating before the last people even received their meals. Having said that we weren’t in a rush and we’re just enjoying each other’s company so it wasn’t a huge deal for us at the moment but it would be very Inconvenient. I ordered the brisket sandwich which was meh. Wasn’t prepared as brisket should. But it was still okay. Sides were amazing. My onion rings did taste like fish. Staff was friendly. I would visit again but with a smaller party.
