Country Style — Restaurant in Trent Hills

I thought really hard about doing this review, but I was very disappointed in my interaction with the girl named Shelly. This is my second visit and the first time was very positive. Today I purchased gas and decided to get breakfast. I ordered a wrap a coffee and a donut. The lady made my coffee and bagged my donut. She then left to check pizza, help a delivery guy and back to the pizza. As that was happening, a few customers came in. She was going back and forth to the pizza and delivery guy. The guy says, did she see you and I said yup, she is supposed to be making me a wrap. She then comes over and makes a few snotty comments about it not being Tim Hortons and then helps the guy that came in after me. Between the delivery guy, the pizza and helping other people, I was there for quite awhile. I finally said, just give me my money back, I will go to subway. That did not go well either. Finally a different employee showed up and we straightened everything out. I honestly felt bad about getting frustrated, but you look after the customer first and don't keep looking after the regular customers buying coffee, the able bodied delivery guy and pizza that was not an order, but made for slices. I spent 12 bucks on a wrap, donut and coffee and should not be pushed aside, or told I am not at...

Tried to order a couple iced cappuccinos. Both employees were confused about what the coffee drink in the machine was. One said I would have to eat it with a spoon, you couldn't drink it (??) so I asked for her to put a bit in a cup to see if it was infact iced capp. That's when the second employee showed up with a mouthful of food, trying to talk while still chewing, yelling "NO TRY!". I explained that the other employee described the drink as being too thick so I just wanted to check the consistency and he said No. He could pour some coffee on ice for me and make iced coffee. I wanted an iced cappuccino but we seemed to be at an impasse so we left. Overall, really confusing and none of us...

My own mother worked for this company not at this location. She worked long , hard hours for over 20 years to raise youngest brother on her own with minimum wage and tips. Her employer would switch shifts literally at last minute and threaten if she didn't accept she would be fired!!! This went on well over 20 years of working for a tyrannical employer that could not care less about employees and treated employees like cattle instead of human beings.
