I've been here a few times, and enjoyed myself previously. Butv my last experience was not good.

The General Tao is normally very good! But on the last visit it was this sad brown sauce, with nearly no batter on the chicken. It didn't taste very good either, old or cooked in rancid oil. We sent it back, they told us it's always been this way. But right there on their tablet menu is the General Tao in this beautiful red sauce with a nice breading like I got on my previous visits. Nothing like what we received.

It was particularly frustrating that staff was trying to convince us it was always this way and fine. The entire table didn't like that Tao, not just me.

The Salmon Teriyaki smelled and tasted potently fishy and had a lot of fatty tissue. Not very appetizing. Low quality or old stock for sure. Not very reassuring if that represents the state of the sushi fish as well.

I shall return in April, but if it's more of the same next time I think I'll be on the lookout for a better experience elsewhere. My review will reflect...

The best AYCE sushi In TR, Please keep in mind that doesn't say much... Unless you plan on driving 1h & 30 minutes or 2 hours (with traffic) to montreal or Quebec chances are this is your best bet for AYCE sushi. Fish is relatively fresh with inconsistent results. Sometimes its fresh sometimes not & chewy, worst case scenario a couple of small bones in your salmon.... not good. Rice is ok.. Creativity & types of Sushi are decently varied but lack finesse. Its the type of Sushi place where you find what you like & only order that because they either can't master a in house sauce for most of their maki's or they can't get the balance of flavour right (ex: too salty, too much rice) compared to an excellent Sushi place in Boucherville called Samon where everything on the MENU is amazing. Service is a mix of a so called "Cute" Robot serving you replacing actual people & Friendly service. I am not encouraged to tip much when served by a robot. The place is comfy but can sometimes be a little too...

First and sadly last time here.

Went for what I considered lunch (2PM) but turns out was too late and fell into supper hours. Decided to stay despite the price bump, assuming I'd just get more food. By first round of food I knew I messed up...

Sushi rice/sea weed felt very old. General tao's chicken was mostly just cartilage and hard as rock. The banana in the fried banana was completely black. The spicy mayo tasted awful (if that's how it usually taste, y'all are missing out on good spicy mayo). I wonder if they just found old food in one of their fridges and decided to pass it off to us (thrash Mondays?).

Only reason I'm not giving 1 star was because the server was really nice. They better have paid you the tip and not just...
